0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Konstantins Gluhovs! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Ivanov with a poor takedown and Gluhovs counters with a series of strikes. Ivanov will be more careful next time no doubt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ivanov. Gluhovs avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Ivanov.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gluhovs controls the position for a moment. Ivanov tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Gluhovs is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ivanov connects with a decent elbow. The ground and pound from Ivanov seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Ivanov working the head and body with strikes. Ivanov lands a decent elbow from side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ivanov working the ground and pound.
Gluhovs is rocked!
It looks like Konstantins Gluhovs has been cut. Gluhovs can't do much from the bottom here. Gluhovs is still in real trouble! Can Ivanov finish him? Ivanov in side control, throwing shots but Gluhovs defends. Ivanov throws an elbow but Gluhovs slips to the side and avoids it well. Gluhovs seems to have recovered his senses. I wouldn't like to be where Gluhovs is right now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ivanov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Gluhovs tries to bench press Ivanov off him but Ivanov keeps the position. Ivanov cracks Gluhovs with a big elbow. Gluhovs struggling a bit here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ivanov misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Ivanov lands a few punches from side control. Gluhovs dodges the ground and pound from Ivanov. Ivanov looks up at the clock and then as Gluhovs takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ivanov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ivanov tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Ivanov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Ivanov scoring with punches and elbows. Ivanov is putting a hurting on Gluhovs here, landing some big shots from side control. Ivanov misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Ivanov lands a strong strike to the head of Gluhovs. That's dazed him! Ivanov looking to finish here. Gluhovs is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Ivanov lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stormrage tries to score a power double leg takedown but Singh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stormrage somewhat. Stormrage shoots in and drives through. Singh sprawls well. Stormrage has his takedown stuffed and Singh counters with a head kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Illidan Stormrage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stormrage tries for a takedown but Singh circles away easily and Singh counters with an outside leg kick.
Stormrage takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Stormrage is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Singh lands with a thumping leg kick.
Singh cracks the inside of Stormrage's front leg. A chopping leg kick lands by Singh. That kick from Singh tenderised Stormrage's leg. Stormrage is trying to keep his angry face on. Stormrage takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

It looks like Illidan Stormrage has been cut. Singh fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Stormrage definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Stormrage. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. A solid leg kick lands there for Singh.

Stormrage will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Singh fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stormrage has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Singh connects with a solid leg kick. Singh scores with a leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh pushes Stormrage away with a front kick. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Stormrage crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Singh - the referee stops the clock and Stormrage gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Singh. Stormrage manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Singh lets loose with a powerful body kick. Stormrage will feel that in the morning. Stormrage shoots for a double leg takedown but Singh sprawls well. He's pushed Stormrage's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Singh.
Singh lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Singh lands a big head kick that sends Stormrage tumbling to the mat! Singh takes a step backwards and waves Stormrage back to his feet - he wants the finish! Singh feints a jab and as Stormrage dips his head, Singh unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Stormrage right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Stormrage falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Singh smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Arshnoor Singh! A victorious Arshnoor Singh thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter. In defeat, Illidan Stormrage stepped up to the mic, saying 'Lok'tar Ogar'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silva showed some decent athleticism there. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jacare Souza doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silva. Silva wants to stand up but Jacare Souza is controlling the position.
Silva looks to land a strike but Jacare Souza avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Jacare Souza wants to stand but Silva is controlling the position. Jacare Souza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jacare Souza is tightening it up a little... Silva has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Silva reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Silva taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jacare Souza!

Akesson connects with a leg kick. Spartan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Akesson blocks a jab. Akesson throws a sloppy head kick and Spartan counters with a right hand to the body. Akesson misses with a few strikes there.

Akesson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Spartan stuns Akesson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Spartan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Akesson. Akesson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Akesson misses with a body shot.

and Spartan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Akesson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Spartan counters with a right hand to the body. Akesson is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Spartan just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Akesson has gone limp and this one is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Balboa fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Saffedine has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Saffedine goes for a double leg but Balboa avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Balboa continues to drive forward. Balboa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Saffedine looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Balboa is fending him off so far but Saffedine persists. Nope, Balboa circles away and we're back to standing. Balboa ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Balboa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Saffedine looks winded! An inside leg kick lands from Balboa. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Balboa stuffs the takedown attempt from Saffedine. Saffedine gets slowly back to his feet. Rocky Balboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Armos Saffedine. Saffedine takes a shot right to the bread basket. Saffedine shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Balboa sprawls well. Balboa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Saffedine gets slowly back to his feet. Balboa smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa throws a nice inside leg kick. Balboa drops Saffedine with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Saffedine looks back up at him and smiles so Balboa waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That has opened up Armos Saffedine's cut even more. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice body punch from Balboa. Balboa is looking to slow Saffedine down with leg kicks. Balboa throws a nice inside leg kick. Balboa cracks Saffedine with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rocky Balboa! Rocky Balboa was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fury looking for a triangle here. Wagner is fighting it but it looks tight! Fury pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Wagner is tapping out - this one is all over!
