The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Carboni manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Carboni cracks Costa with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Carboni has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Costa to stand back up!

It looks like Tino Costa has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carboni walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Costa drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Carboni swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Costa's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
