The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussain throws a right and a left that both miss.
Good leg kick by Petrova there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Petrova shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Petrova connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Saddam Hussain has been cut.
Hussain avoids the body shot from Petrova.
A solid leg kick lands there for Petrova.

Petrova drops Hussain with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hussain looks back up at him and smiles so Petrova waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Petrova dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hussain. That did some damage!
Oh Hussain is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Petrova lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Hussain up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Petrova from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Hussain's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Takanen felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Yamada's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Kint wants to take Yamada's back but he can't do it this time.

Kint jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Yamada manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Yamada is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kint is controlling him well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kane Yamada.
I think Kint has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
