The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cid comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Cid throws a leg kick which misses Schoots's front leg but catches the back leg as Schoots tries to avoid it.

and Cid counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Schoots thinking.
We've been hearing reports that Schoots has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Boyka's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, SnoopDogg - Breathe It. Glorious has chosen Rick Ross ft Weezy - I'm a G as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
