The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asteroid scores with a head kick.
Asteroid misses with an uppercut
and Valentine decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Asteroid's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Valentine working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Valentine tries to free his leg and advance position but Asteroid is retaining full guard. Valentine postures up in Asteroid's guard and throws a big left but Asteroid blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Valentine with a nice head shot there. Valentine works over Asteroid with some ground and pound from guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Asteroid not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Asteroid manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Valentine is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Alexander Valentine has got the better of the ground game so far. Valentine is looking to regain half guard here but Asteroid keeps moving and retains side control.

Asteroid looking to control and managing it successfully. Valentine has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Asteroid lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Valentine has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Valentine and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Prijovic throws a front kick aimed at Atlason's knee but Atlason avoids it well. The crowd cheers as Atlason lands an impressive looking overhand right. Prijovic doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Nemanja Prijovic has been cut. Atlason moves forwards but Prijovic connects with a nice, crisp jab. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Prijovic - that will leave a mark!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Atlason gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Prijovic. Prijovic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dawkins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Dawkins has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Original Nemesis Gym in the buildup to the fight. A head kick misses from Dawkins. Miller lands a body shot.
Miller tries to clinch up and Dawkins counters with a shoot takedown. Miller fights it but they end up in guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Miller is on top in guard.
Miller trying to control but Dawkins is working from the bottom. Miller is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dawkins has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Miller is looking to defend but Dawkins has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Miller! Dawkins pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Miller taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powers throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Powers lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bane has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bane and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Powers checks a leg kick. Bane is looking to chop away at Powers's legs. A kick lands to the mid section there for Powers. Powers defending well as Bane loads up on a big left hand. Powers uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bane. Bane connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Austin Powers has been cut. Bane has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bane lands a big head kick that sends Powers tumbling to the mat! Bane takes a step backwards and waves Powers back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Powers is rocked! Powers jabs Bane to the body, keeping him at a distance. Oh Powers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bane jabbing away but nothing is landing. Powers seems to have got his legs back now. Powers scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Blood Bane has been cut. Powers swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Powers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bane is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Powers chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Powers bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bane tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Bane pushes Powers up against the cage in a clinch. Powers softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Powers tries a body shot but Bane blocks it.
Powers taking a breather. Bane's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Powers lands an uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Powers lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bane backwards. Powers can't find room to land a body shot as Bane controls the action.
Powers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Powers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The fighters circling - Bane throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Powers attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Bane throws out a loose jab but Powers uses good head movement to avoid it. Powers is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. A slow jab from Bane misses its intended target. Powers displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bane throws out the jab. Bane moves forwards but Powers connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The cut above Blood Bane's eye is starting to cause him problems now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A shot to the liver by Powers. Beautiful body shot. A right-left combo lands from Powers. A bone on bone clash there as Powers blocks the leg kick.
Powers throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A right-left combo lands from Powers. Powers misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A good leg kick by Powers. Bane doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A nice leg kick lands there from Powers. Powers lands a head shot.
Blood Bane's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Powers throws a sloppy head kick and Bane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Powers lands a really nice looking cross but Bane seems unphased.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Blood Bane's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spider ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Kable avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kable thows a body shot but no joy. Spider turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Kable throws a right hand that Spider ducks under and follows up with a left that Spider also avoids with ease. We've been informed that Kable has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Kable throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

I was talking to Spider's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Spider lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kable. Kable scores with a shot to the side of Spider's head. Spider's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kable misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Spider counters with a body kick. Kable looks winded! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Spider digs a good body shot into Kable's ribs. Kable walks into a stiff left hand from Spider. The fight moves into the clinch position. Spider wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kable has him pressed against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spider lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Spider swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Spider stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kable. Kable throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kable misses with a low kick.

Spider creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Kable's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Kable drops to his knees and Spider pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uusisto has a takedown stuffed. Hunt pivots, looking for a leg kick but Uusisto is out of range and Hunt settles back down. Hunt lands a jab to the head.
Hunt with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Uusisto to score with a decent uppercut. Uusisto feints and as Hunt raises his hands in defense, Uusisto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Uusisto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hunt swivels though and keeps the full guard. Uusisto trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Uusisto is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A good leg kick by Uusisto. Uusisto checks a leg kick. Hunt can't keep his opponent in guard - Uusisto advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Uusisto wants to free his trapped foot but Hunt is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hunt is staying active underneath Uusisto, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
