Tanaka throws a head kick but Alves moves out of range.

Tanaka changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Alves looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
You can see the frustration on Alves's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Tanaka jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Alves walks away with a smile on his face. Tanaka gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Alves throws a hook to the side of Tanaka's head but Tanaka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Hector Alves.
I think Alves has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Nodes feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Smith sprawling to the canvas! Smith rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nodes finish him?!

Smith shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nodes sprawls well. Nodes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.

Nodes cracks Smith with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nodes has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Smith to stand back up!

Nodes drops Smith with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Smith looks back up at him and smiles so Nodes waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Smith shoots in but no luck this time.
Nodes drops Smith with a naaaaasty hook - Smith is in real trouble here! Nodes dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
