Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Ruent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Tauno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tauno has chosen Pelican - Dead Between The Walls as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Ruent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tony Tauno! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruent throws a leg kick and Tauno counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Tony Tauno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tauno throws a leg kick that misses. Tauno looks to throw the jab but Ruent is out of range. Tauno misses with a leg kick and Ruent counters with a lovely shot to the body. Tauno punishes Ruent's body with a nice straight punch. Tauno shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ruent but Ruent pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ruent takes one to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action! Ruent defending well as Tauno loads up on a big left hand. Tauno stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. A shot to the liver by Tauno. Beautiful body shot.

Rick Ruent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Tauno. Some bone on bone action there as Ruent checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Ruent counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Tauno throws a hook but Ruent avoids it easily. Ruent ducks under a wild hook from Tauno. A big left from Tauno misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Tauno. Ruent does a little dance to reset his feet. Ruent misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Ruent counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tauno's knee momentarily. Ruent slips a jab from Tauno. Ruent swinging wildly here.
Tauno shoots in for a takedown but Ruent shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nice defenses there by Tauno. Tauno lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ruent takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ruent takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Ruent is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Tauno is taking a breather. Ruent says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tony Tauno was stalling too much, according to the referee. Ruent throws a looping overhand right but Tauno ducks down to avoid it. Ruent misses with a two punch combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tauno misses with a low kick. Ruent connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Tauno lands a nice hook to Ruent's body. Ruent takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Tauno throws a big shot that misses. Tauno slips under a jab. Tauno throws a hook but Ruent avoids it easily. Tauno tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Ruent takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. The Badger throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A kick lands to the mid section there for Valentino. Valentino drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. The Badger fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Valentino has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. The Badger lands with a thumping leg kick.
Valentino misses with a shot to the body and The Badger moves into the clinch. The Badger landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Barac throws a low kick but it's checked well by Blaze. Barac checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Blaze blocks a low kick nicely. Barac stuns Blaze with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Blaze gets in close and instigates a clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Barac swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That took the wind out of him momentarily. Barac thows a body shot but no joy. Blaze attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Blaze feints and then cracks Barac's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Barac down. Barac cracks Blaze with a right hand to the side of the head. Barac misses with a body kick. Barac goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Blaze ducks under a wild hook from Barac. Blaze throws a series of strikes that have Barac backpedaling.

Luckily it didn't land flush. Blaze digs a good body shot into Barac's ribs. Blaze lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Blaze slips a straight right by Barac. Blaze scores with a jab to the head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Blaze walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Barac checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Barac misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Blaze.
That kick from Blaze tenderised Barac's leg. Barac is trying to keep his angry face on. Barac gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Blaze. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ivan Barac will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Nino Blaze's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Blaze throws a wild body kick that Barac sees coming a mile off. Barac throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Blaze counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blaze lands with a thumping leg kick.

Barac tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Blaze is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Barac rather than just go for the knockout. Barac stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Blaze. Blaze wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Blaze throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Blaze closes the distance and clinches. Blaze tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Barac chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Blaze can pounce on him.

Blaze's corner calls for a 1-2. Blaze obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Blaze dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Barac. That did some damage! Barac will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A low kick from Blaze is predictable there and Barac counters with a good low kick that Blaze was not able to check. Blaze lands with a cross. and De Noteboom counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hunter's guard now. Hunter is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Hunter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. This has been an exciting period of action! Hunter looking to control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Radev lets loose with a powerful body kick. Surov will feel that in the morning. Nikolai Radev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Radev checks a leg kick nicely. Radev bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. A slapping leg kick lands for Radev.
Surov lands with an overhand left. Surov walks into a jab. Radev takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Surov loads up on a big right hand but Radev slips the punch. Surov scores with a sloppy right hand. Radev should have avoided that one. Radev connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Surov's hands. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Surov checks the leg kick nicely there.
