The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mettler tries to clinch up. Mettler shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mettler is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kolano.
It looks like Mateus Mettler has been cut. Kolano lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kolano. A punch combination from Kolano misses. Mettler moves into range and clinches up with Kolano. Kolano is trying to break the clinch but Mettler is controlling him. Mettler has Kolano pushed against the cage. The referee jumps in - Kolano raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peri drops Richardson with a big left hand and mounts him. Richardson is in big trouble!
It looks like Jeff Richardson has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Richardson is in all sorts of trouble here.
Richardson is squirming around, avoiding Peri's attempts to control the action. Richardson is looking to improve his position but Peri isn't that keen on the idea. Peri is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Richardson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Richardson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Peri anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Richardson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Peri slips an arm under Richardson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Peri has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Peri is squeezing on Richardson like an anaconda would it's prey. Richardson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poletto walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Sandro Poletto has been cut. Poletto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Koksowicz Drugi paws at him with a jab and circles away. Koksowicz Drugi misses with a wild combination.
Poletto scores with a head kick. Koksowicz Drugi tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Waldemar Koksowicz Drugi has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Poletto throws a head kick that Koksowicz Drugi semi-blocks.
Waldemar Koksowicz Drugi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poletto clinches up with Koksowicz Drugi and pushes him back against the cage. Poletto tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Koksowicz Drugi avoids it. Koksowicz Drugi on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Poletto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Poletto wants to clinch up but Koksowicz Drugi keeps it at a distance. No joy there for Koksowicz Drugi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Poletto throws a front kick aimed at Koksowicz Drugi's knee but Koksowicz Drugi avoids it well. Koksowicz Drugi misses with a two punch combination.
Koksowicz Drugi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Poletto moves away. Koksowicz Drugi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poletto pushes Koksowicz Drugi up against the cage in a clinch. Poletto with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Poletto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Koksowicz Drugi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A solid leg kick lands there for Poletto.
Koksowicz Drugi is breathing heavily. Koksowicz Drugi looks to score with a jab to the body but Poletto is just out of range. Poletto throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Koksowicz Drugi stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Poletto follows into mount!
Koksowicz Drugi is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Poletto postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Koksowicz Drugi is out cold - huge knockout for Poletto!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzalez misses with a takedown attempt and Alvarez counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Alvarez working the head and body with strikes. Gonzalez is looking to control Alvarez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gonzalez avoid being mounted? Alvarez is looking to pass Gonzalez's guard but actually Gonzalez recovers to full guard. Gonzalez working a defensive guard but Alvarez passes into half guard.
Alvarez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Alvarez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gonzalez's head. Alvarez is working for a kimura but Gonzalez is defending it quite comfortably.
