The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alcatraz throws an overhand right that lands on Ingram's shoulder, as Ingram tries to avoid the shot. Alcatraz throws a leg kick which misses Ingram's front leg but catches the back leg as Ingram tries to avoid it. Ingram walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Alcatraz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Alcatraz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ingram counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Alcatraz thinking. Ingram throws a good cross that connects.
Alcatraz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Alcatraz gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Alcatraz digs a right hand underneath Ingram's ribcage. Ingram let out a lung full of air as it connected. Ingram blocks an uppercut.
Ingram looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ingram tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Ingram dodges an elbow strike from Alcatraz.
I was talking to Alcatraz's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Ingram tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Alcatraz's elbow. Alcatraz managing to block the knees to the body from Ingram.

Blyer lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Blyer. Blyer misses with a looping left. Matiss tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Blyer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Blyer lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Matiss thows a body kick. Blyer tries to catch it but that hurt him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Matiss shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Matiss lands a big head kick that sends Blyer tumbling to the mat! Matiss takes a step backwards and waves Blyer back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Rocky Blyer has been cut. Blyer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Matiss is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rocky Blyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blyer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Matiss throws out the jab. Matiss lands a big head kick that sends Blyer tumbling to the mat! Matiss takes a step backwards and waves Blyer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wright looks to score with a jab to the body but Kerjalainen is just out of range. Kerjalainen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kerjalainen ducks under a wild hook from Wright. A big left from Kerjalainen misses. Wright takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kerjalainen misses with a looping left. Kerjalainen's coach down at Team Hopkins was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kerjalainen's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Wright misses with a takedown attempt - Kerjalainen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kerjalainen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wright. Kerjalainen scores with a punch to the head. Wright lands a nice looking body shot.

Keijo Kerjalainen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kerjalainen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Wright throws a jab but it's blocked by Kerjalainen. A good leg kick by Kerjalainen. Kerjalainen throws a shot from downtown. Wright moves away and avoids it. Wright throws a push kick but Kerjalainen slaps the foot to one side. Wright uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kerjalainen.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Van De Wolf Keizer working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Nice strikes from Van De Wolf Keizer there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prime scores with a spinning back kick! Prime will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rei gets tackled into the cage by Prime. Prime maintains the clinch. Rei swings wildly with an uppercut but Prime uses good head movement to avoid it. Prime lands with a light punch inside. Rei goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Prime dips a shoulder and cracks Rei with a mighty uppercut! Rei falls back against the cage and Prime unloads with a barrage of strikes! Rei is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Prime screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Optimus Prime! Optimus Prime decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
