The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McAllister avoids the body shot from Perseus.
McAllister looks to land a left hand but Perseus moved out of range nicely. Perseus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McAllister moves away. Perseus cracks the inside of McAllister's front leg. Nice body punch from Perseus. Danga de danga de dang - Perseus scores with a four punch combination! McAllister scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McAllister walks into a stiff left hand from Perseus. Perseus pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Perseus cracks McAllister with a right hand to the side of the head. Perseus loads up on a big right hand but McAllister slips the punch. Perseus slips a straight right by McAllister. Perseus takes a swing at McAllister's ribcage but misses. McAllister scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

and Perseus counters with a straight punch to the midsection. McAllister takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. McAllister chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Perseus can pounce on him.

Nice body punch from Perseus. Chris McAllister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perseus connects with a solid leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McAllister moves forwards but Perseus connects with a nice, crisp jab. This has been an exciting period of action! McAllister misses with a looping left. Perseus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McAllister looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Perseus lands with an uppercut that bounces McAllister off the cage and back into rage. Perseus comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. McAllister has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Perseus punishes McAllister's body with a nice straight punch.

Good standup being displayed there by Perseus as he connects with a hook. McAllister takes a jab right on the kisser.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Florence stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Florence wants it to stay on the feet. Rawse wants to clinch. Rawse tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rick Rawse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rawse closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Florence did well to prevent Rawse getting side control. Ground and pound from Rawse. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rawse performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Rawse thumps the canvas. Cutting fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Arteta is out of range. Cutting walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left lands for Hopkins. Kovalenko moves out of range as Hopkins strikes. Kovalenko avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kovalenko drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kovalenko tries to advance to mount but Hopkins denies him. Kovalenko fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sky lands a nice shot to the body.
