The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Herbault throws a nice looking combination but Wiggins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wiggins throws a hook to the side of Herbault's head but Herbault sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nice body punch from Herbault. Herbault tries to clinch but Wiggins is having none of it. Herbault moves into the clinch. Wiggins has a couple of punches blocked by Herbault.

Knockout goes for a double leg but Laury avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Laury continues to drive forward. Knockout is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Laury is defending well. Knockout prevents Laury from breaking the clinch. Laury is trying to push Knockout away but Knockout has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Laury tries to break free but Knockout pushes him back against the cage. Knockout is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Laury is keeping busy. Laury wants to break free but Knockout has control.

Matt Laury is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Laury stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Laury wants it to stay on the feet. Knockout looks winded! Knockout defending well as Laury loads up on a big left hand. Laury scores with a body shot.

Knockout takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Good shot there by Laury. Laury works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Knockout ducks under a wild hook from Laury. Laury feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Knockout sprawling to the canvas! Knockout rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Laury finish him?!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Laury cracks Knockout on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Knockout falls backwards against the cage. Laury follows up with more strikes that drop Knockout to his knees. Laury keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Knockout! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hendricks shoots and misses and Glazkov counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Glazkov tries to clinch but Hendricks moves out of range. Glazkov wants to clinch up but Hendricks keeps it at a distance. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hendricks has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Glazkov clinches up against the cage. Glazkov creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hendricks's defenses. Glazkov crunches a lovely knee into Hendricks's ribcage. The referee is keeping an eye on Glazkov - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Glazkov jerks Hendricks's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Hendricks drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Glazkov goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Glazkov because Hendricks was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Makarenko lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Makarenko throws a wild body kick that MacOwan sees coming a mile off. MacOwan throws an overhand right that lands on Makarenko's shoulder, as Makarenko tries to avoid the shot. Makarenko looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Makarenko throws a head kick that misses. Makarenko scores with a push kick. Makarenko slips a straight right by MacOwan. Makarenko scores with a push kick. MacOwan looks winded! This has been an exciting period of action! Makarenko scores with a spinning back kick! Makarenko thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on MacOwan if he has to take too many more of those.

It looks like Kevin MacOwan has been cut. Makarenko lets loose with a powerful body kick. MacOwan will feel that in the morning. A head kick by Makarenko - that's a beauty! MacOwan is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Makarenko can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

BJ tries to score a body lock takedown but Cutler shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Nice body punch from BJ - that landed with a thud.
Cutler lands a nice uppercut. Cutler presses BJ against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. BJ jumps guard but Cutler turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jay Cutler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Dee BJ. BJ is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cutler is defending well. BJ using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cutler has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Cutler has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. BJ wants to sweep here but Cutler controlling him for the moment. Cutler wants to pass the guard but BJ is keeping the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Cutler slips a straight right by BJ. Cutler lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but BJ circles away quickly and effectively. BJ closes the distance but Cutler moves to the side so Cutler counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. BJ is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cutler wants to control but BJ is keeping busy and won't allow it. BJ stands up out of the half guard. BJ tries to clinch up and Cutler moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cutler has dropped down and is working for a takedown. BJ is trying to keep an underhook but Cutler manages to get the takedown into half guard. BJ is pressing down on Cutler's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. BJ wants to sweep here but Cutler controlling him for the moment. BJ takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cutler wants to pass the guard but BJ is keeping the position. BJ manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cutler manages to get himself to full guard.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cutler tries to get out of the position. Cutler is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but BJ has just dragged him back down to the mat. BJ laying and praying for a moment but Cutler takes advantage and regains half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. BJ wants to free his trapped foot but Cutler is holding on for dear life with his legs. BJ missing with the ground and pound from half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cutler is refusing to be controlled, as BJ sits in half guard. BJ throwing shots but Cutler is blocking nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jay Cutler. I think Cutler has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Duphus swings and misses with a shot to the body and Perosh counters with a left to the body. Duphus moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Duphus is looking to clinch. Duphus drops his hands momentarily and Perosh takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Duphus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Perosh. Duphus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Perosh as he jumps to the side. Perosh looks to score with a jab to the body but Duphus is just out of range. Perosh lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! Perosh lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Perosh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Duphus.
Perosh tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Duphus takes a swing at Perosh's ribcage but misses. Perosh throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Duphus on the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. Perosh lands a left and a right that send Duphus crashing to the mat, dazed. Perosh thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Duphus is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Perosh throws a series of punches but Duphus avoids them all with ease. Oh Duphus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Perosh loads up on a big right hand but Duphus slips the punch. Duphus seems to have got his legs back now. Perosh feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Duphus sprawling to the canvas! Duphus rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Perosh finish him?!
Ruphus Duphus's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Perosh drops Duphus with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Duphus looks back up at him and smiles so Perosh waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Perosh ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A punch lands to the side of Duphus 's head but he takes it in his stride. Duphus swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Perosh slaps away a takedown attempt from Duphus, before circling back to the center of the mat. Perosh lands an overhand right.
Jeez, Ruphus Duphus's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Duphus takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ruphus Duphus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After the fight, Jeremy Perosh was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meranda tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jingle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jingle closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Meranda quickly recovers to half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Meranda moves into full guard.
