Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nalle Karhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kersikov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dappy - Good Intentions. Karhu has chosen Yö - Parrasvalot as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Karhu has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Karhu and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manoel bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Manoel dodges the punch combination from Koyo.
Koyo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Manoel.
A big left from Koyo misses.
Manoel throws a body punch but Koyo moves out of range.
Koyo throws a lazy right hand but Manoel sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Koyo misses with a kick to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Koyo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Manoel screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
