The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Summers pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Summers goes for a high kick. It partially lands. No joy there for Summers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Summers throws a nice looking combination but Mason bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Mason takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Summers lands a high kick!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for ONeal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Good shot there by Sapp. ONeal lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Bob Sapp has been cut. ONeal circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sapp is looking to clinch but ONeal is avoiding it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! ONeal fails with the takedown. Sapp keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. ONeal will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bob Sapp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shaquille ONeal. Sapp stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Shaquille ONeal has been cut. ONeal swats away the attempt to clinch by Sapp. Sapp steps into range and cracks ONeal with a monster punch that buckles his knees! ONeal flops backwards and Sapp dives into his guard looking to finish!
ONeal is rocked! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sapp accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. ONeal is still in real trouble! Can Sapp finish him? Sapp drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but ONeal manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sapp has ONeal in his guard. ONeal seems to have recovered his senses. Sapp is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. ONeal in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Sapp is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst ONeal is controlling him. ONeal stands up and waves to Sapp to follow him. ONeal shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. ONeal showed some decent athleticism there. ONeal performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Shaquille ONeal has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. ONeal shoots in looking for a takedown but Sapp manages to keep the fight standing, pushing ONeal's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

ONeal wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sapp keeps working. ONeal prevents Sapp from improving his position. Sapp wants to stand but ONeal is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. ONeal trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. ONeal throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sapp works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sapp keeping moving, preventing ONeal from controlling successfully.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Shaquille ONeal hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Sapp lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. ONeal shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Sapp knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for ONeal on the ground. ONeal prevents Sapp from standing back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. ONeal thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sapp's head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knight leaves Sinistra with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Sinistra misses with a few strikes there.
Vinnie Sinistra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sinistra thows a body shot but no joy. Knight connects with a body shot. Sinistra fails with a takedown attempt. Knight wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Knight throws a good cross that connects.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Knight doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Knight manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Knight's corner is telling him to maintain position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sparrow looking to pass the guard. Borikav is looking to stand up but Sparrow isn't so interested in that idea. Sparrow is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Borikav wants to stand and escape but Sparrow is having none of it. Sparrow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wooooo! Our spies down at at All Around Training inform us that Sparrow has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Sparrow is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Sparrow lands with a hammerfist to the side of Borikav's head. Borikav looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Sparrow has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Borikav! Can he survive? No! He's out! Sparrow gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rumble uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Miller. Miller takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Rumble shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Miller but Miller pushes him off and we're back to square one. Miller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rumble closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rumble lands in his opponent's guard. Rumble throws a big elbow that misses. Rumble postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Rumble in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Miller taking a bit of punishment here - Rumble scoring with strikes. Miller pushes Rumble away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rumble gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Oliver Miller has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Igor Rumble is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Singh tries to sprawl but Ankka drives through with a takedown into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
