The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cooper rushes Creyonte and presses him up against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Cooper just misses with a elbow thrown towards Creyonte's brow.
Cooper lands a hook that snaps the head of Creyonte backwards.
Creyonte fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Creyonte throws an elbow that misses.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Creyonte breaks from the clinch.

Cooper clinches up with Creyonte and pushes him back against the cage.
Cooper gets through Creyonte's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Creyonte is trying to drag Cooper to the mat but Cooper just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Creyonte goes for a takedown attempt but Cooper pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Creyonte putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Cooper in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Creyonte is still on wobbly legs! Can Cooper finish him?
Creyonte has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Cooper after a bit of a struggle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Creyonte has Cooper pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cooper manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Cooper pushes Creyonte against the cage. Cooper is working some dirty boxing. Cooper pushes off with a quick right hook! Creyonte goes down! Creyonte tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Cooper moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Charles Cooper decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
The defeated Koral Creyonte had this to say: 'Thanks to my teammates for helping me, this guy is really tough, I did my best and gave my all! See you later guys..'.

and Faulk counters with a thumping low kick.
Madrigal moves away from the strike by Faulk.
Faulk takes one on the button.
Madrigal lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Madrigal throws a lazy right hand but Faulk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Faulk misses with a low kick.
Faulk moves out of range of the strikes.
Madrigal checks a leg kick nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Faulk throws a low kick, looking for Madrigal's leg but Madrigal calmly moves out of range.
Faulk throws a hook but Madrigal avoids it easily.
Faulk moves into range and connects with a jab.
Madrigal on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Madrigal just misses with a punch to the body.
Madrigal swings for the body but Faulk moves out of range.
Faulk takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Faulk is looking to chop away at Madrigal's legs.
Faulk shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Faulk bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Faulk has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Madrigal throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Madrigal ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Faulk moves away.

No joy there for Madrigal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Madrigal fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Faulk manages to avoid it.
Faulk dips to his left and cracks Madrigal with an uppercut!

Arthur Faulk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Madrigal on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Faulk throws an overhand right that lands on Madrigal's shoulder, as Madrigal tries to avoid the shot.

Faulk takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Faulk throws a jab but it's blocked by Madrigal.
Faulk uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Madrigal.

Madrigal decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Madrigal is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Faulk is just riding it out for now. Madrigal eventually gives up the hold.

Madrigal slips a nice elbow through Faulk's hands, connecting with Faulk's forehead.

Madrigal lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Faulk keeps control of the position for the meantime.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Madrigal stands up over Faulk, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Faulk is still in real trouble! Can Madrigal finish him?
Madrigal loads up on a big left hand. Faulk felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Madrigal looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Faulk can't hide his disappointment, as Madrigal celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Julio Madrigal!
