The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karelin fails with the takedown. Some wild striking there from Joans.
Karelin shoots in and drives through. Joans sprawls well. A shot to de liver by Joans. Beautiful body shot. Joans stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Joans wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mirosvaldo Karelin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joans rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Karelin moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Karelin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Joans is fending him off so far but Karelin persists. Nope, Joans circles away and we're back to standing. Joans connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Karelin to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Joans!

5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Simon Kolling! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolling throws a hook to the side of Brooks's head but Brooks sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Brooks displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Kolling throws a jab but it's blocked by Brooks. Kolling throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brooks counters with a takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kolling takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Brooks looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kolling tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brooks wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Brooks is putting a hurting on Kolling here, landing some big shots from side control. Brooks misses with the ground and pound. Brooks working the ground and pound from side control. Kolling is looking to regain half guard here but Brooks keeps moving and retains side control. Kolling is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Brooks throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Brooks tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kolling's legs. Brooks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kolling is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brooks works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Brooks sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kolling is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Brooks thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Brooks connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kolling some visible discomfort.
Kolling gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Brooks looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kolling with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kolling avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Brooks. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kolling taking some punishment here, with Brooks in his half guard. Brooks thows a huge punch but Kolling dodges it nicely.
Brooks prevents Kolling from improving his position. Brooks is trying for a kimura here. Kolling looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Brooks wins by kimura!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Yemo or perhaps it was just good defense by Muggerud which made him look bad. Muggerud throws a low kick, looking for Yemo's leg but Yemo calmly moves out of range. Muggerud with a body punch. A glancing blow. No luck with that takedown attempt from Yemo. A lazy left from Muggerud finds it's target. Yemo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Muggerud's waist but Muggerud gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yemo off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Yemo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yemo checks the leg kick nicely there.

Yemo fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A shot to de liver by Muggerud. Beautiful body shot. Yemo is breathing heavily. Muggerud punishes Yemo's body with a nice straight punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Muggerud changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A left lands for Muggerud. Yemo takes a body punch but keeps moving. Muggerud goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muggerud feints and then cracks Yemo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yemo down. Muggerud lands with a nice body punch. Muggerud is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Yemo rather than just go for the knockout. Muggerud jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Muggerud lands a slapping body shot.
Muggerud will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Yemo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Muggerud to score with a decent uppercut. Muggerud lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Muggerud cracks a nice hook into Yemo's ribs. Yemo takes a body punch but keeps moving. Muggerud lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Muggerud throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Yemo colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Muggerud as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Yemo is left battered and dazed whilst Muggerud and his camp cheer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Goldman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Goldman defending well as Baal loads up on a big left hand. Goldman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Baal jabbing away but nothing is landing. Baal lands a two punch combo.
Goldman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Goldman looks to score with a jab to the body but Baal is just out of range. Goldman ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Baal connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. This has been an exciting period of action! Baal throws a right and a left that Goldman avoids nicely. Baal takes a shot right to the bread basket. Goldman scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Baal is breathing heavily. Goldman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baal tries to avoid it but Goldman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baal to the ground. Baal escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Goldman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Baal throws a shot from downtown. Goldman moves away and avoids it. Nice body punch from Goldman. Goldman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Baal moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Baal pushing out the jab but it's not landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mort Goldman dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Baal is not content to let Goldman control the position. Goldman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Baal's head. Baal has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Goldman is working away from the top position though. Goldman not landing any meaningful shots this time. Goldman prevents Baal from improving his position. Goldman is stalling here. Baal is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Goldman seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Baal has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Baal looks to land a combination but Goldman avoids it well. Goldman shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Baal takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Baal walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Baal misses with a straight right. Goldman has a takedown stuffed. A nice combination there by Goldman.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Goldman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Baal manages to avoid it. Baal thows a left - swing and a miss! Baal tries to bum rush Goldman with a series of wild strikes but Goldman uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Baal throws a hook but Goldman avoids it easily. Goldman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Baal lands a jab to the head.
A big left from Baal misses. Goldman throws a looping overhand right but Baal ducks down to avoid it. Goldman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Baal was well out of range. Poor timing from Goldman. Baal shoots in looking for a takedown. Goldman tries to sprawl out of it but Baal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Goldman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Goldman's corner calls for a 1-2. Goldman obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Goldman lands a slapping body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Triston Baal. I think Baal has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Di wants to clinch. Mason throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Di. Di darts in and clinches Mason up against the cage. Di with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Mason can't get the takedown.

Mason drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Di gets the underhooks and prevents it.

It looks like Gunnar Hansen has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hansen has given up his back here. Will Singh look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Oh Hansen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Singh is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position.
