The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Lindel misses. Lindel tries to clinch but Vasconcelos is having none of it. Vasconcelos avoids the body shot from Lindel.
Lindel misses with a straight left. Vasconcelos throws a hook but Lindel blocks it. Lindel shoots in looking for a takedown but Vasconcelos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lindel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Vasconcelos looks to land a body kick but Lindel moved away. Lindel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vasconcelos avoids it really well and circles away. Vasconcelos looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Vasconcelos gets in close and instigates a clinch. Vasconcelos slows down the pace here.

Lindel lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Vasconcelos is looking for a sweep. Lindel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vasconcelos regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Lindel. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vasconcelos is on top in guard.
Lindel has his foot on Vasconcelos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vasconcelos works his way back into a safe position though. Lindel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lindel thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Lindel trying to keep a closed guard but Vasconcelos is proving a slippery customer.

You can't force these things though and Vasconcelos defends well. Lindel seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Vasconcelos has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lindel is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vasconcelos stands up and waves to Lindel to follow him. Vasconcelos is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lindel throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Vasconcelos gets caught napping as Lindel dives in and scores a takedown. Vasconcelos manages to retain guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lindel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lindel slips nicely into half guard. Lindel not landing any meaningful shots this time. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Vasconcelos trying to control but Lindel postures up.
Lindel is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Vasconcelos has managed to free his arm - good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Mikael Lindel has been cut. Lindel tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Vasconcelos defends well and Lindel ends up having to push Vasconcelos into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Lindel lands a nice uppercut. Lindel has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Vasconcelos after a bit of a struggle. Vasconcelos throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lindels head. Lindel lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Vasconcelos prevents the takedown attempt.

Lindel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. This has been an exciting period of action! Vasconcelos slips under a jab. Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Vasconcelos moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Lindel! Vasconcelos continues to tee off on Lindel, landing with a left and a right! Vasconcelos connects with a right hand that leaves Lindel sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Vasconcelos!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fuckwell throws a hook but Jamm avoids it easily. Fuckwell takes a swing at Jamm's ribcage but misses. Fuckwell scores with a head kick. Jamm tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Jamm lands with a shot to the body. Jamm gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jamm missing with knees to the body.
Jamm lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Fuckwell backwards. Jamm prevents Fuckwell from breaking the clinch. Jamm working Fuckwell over with knees to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A frustrated look appears on Fuckwell's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jamm can't find room to land a body shot as Fuckwell controls the action.
Fuckwell is looking to break free of the clinch but Jamm has double underhooks. Fuckwell is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Fuckwell has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Fuckwell's coach down at Bromance Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fuckwell's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Jamm tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fuckwell avoids it. Fuckwell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The fighters circle momentarily. Fuckwell darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Jamm wants to clinch. Jamm has managed to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuckwell is trying to push Jamm away but Jamm has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Jamm misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Fuckwell.

Fuckwell throws a hook to the side of Jamm's head but Jamm sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Fuckwell throws a lazy right hand but Jamm sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jamm lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Eyeonly Fuckwell has been cut. Jamm tries to clinch there but Fuckwell circles away.
Jamm tries to close the distance and clinch but Fuckwell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jamm with a nice cross. This has been an exciting period of action! Fuckwell throws a lazy uppercut
and Jamm counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jamm pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fuckwell swings away with a body shot that misses
and Jamm counters with a straight right hand. Fuckwell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jamm manages to avoid it. Jamm clinches up against the cage. Fuckwell is trying to push Jamm away but Jamm has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Fuckwell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Fuckwell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Jamm misses with a low kick as Fuckwell jumps back. Jamm closes the distance and clinches. Jamm working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Fuckwell is rocked! Jamm lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Fuckwell to his knees! Jamm keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jima Jamm! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stalker throws a low kick but Speed moves out of range easily. Speed throws a body kick that misses. Speed ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stalker moves away. Stalker scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Speed moves out of range as Stalker strikes. Speed has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stalker finds it's way round the side to connect with Speed's head. Johnnie Stalker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Speed just misses with a punch to the body.
Speed checks a leg kick. Stalker moves to clinch but Speed breaks away and Speed counters with a low kick, right behind Stalker 's knee. Stalker checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Stalker scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Stalker throws an overhand right that lands on Speed's shoulder, as Speed tries to avoid the shot. Speed looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stalker lands a head shot. Speed takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Speed. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Speed. Speed turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A swing and a miss from Stalker. Stalker does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Speed misses with a wild combination.

Speed has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Putka in the buildup to the fight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Speed tries a low kick but Stalker avoids it. Stalker's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Speed lands a jab to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A shot to the body from Stalker misses and Stalker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Stalker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Stalker throws a solid leg kick but Speed takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stalker. Stalker throws a body kick that misses. Speed tests Stalker's chin there with a solid looking shot. A swing and a miss from Stalker. Speed with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Speed lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stalker has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stalker and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Speed closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. This has been an exciting period of action! Speed blocks the body kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawking on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jones misses with a lunging right hand
letting Hawking counter with a right hand. Jones tests Hawking's chin there with a solid looking shot. Hawking checks a leg kick nicely. Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jones feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hawking's calf. Jones tries to work over Hawking's front leg with a kick but Hawking checks it. Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hawking.

Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jones throws out a leg kick but Hawking moves out of range and Jones only half commits. Jones has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

and Hawking counters with a takedown into side control. We've been hearing that Hawking has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Hawking working the ground and pound but Jones is defending the strikes. Hawking cracks Jones with an elbow. That is naaassty. Jones tries to buck Hawking off but Hawking is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The ground and pound from Hawking seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jones wants to control but Hawking postures up. Jones managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hawking.

Hawking looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there. Hawking is working hard here to advance position. Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hawking doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Jones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hawking tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control. Jones lands with a punch from half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Jones trying to control from Hawking's half guard. Hawking has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Hawking wants to get back to full guard but Jones has passed into side control. Jones wants to control but Hawking is keeping him busy. Hawking tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hawking is not content to let Jones control the position. Jones taking a breather here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawking is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Hawking is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jones connects with a nice short shot to Hawking's temple. Jones lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Jones lands strikes from half guard. Jones controlling the action here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hawking wants to get back to full guard. Jones takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luke Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jones fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hawking. Jones fakes the leg kick and cracks Hawking in the body. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hawking checks a leg kick. Hawking takes one to the chin there. Jones darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A thudding body kick lands there by Jones!
Jones throws a big shot that misses. Jones wants to slow Hawking down by chopping away at his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones looks to throw the jab but Hawking is out of range. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hawking crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jones - the referee stops the clock and Hawking gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jones. Hawking manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Jones throws a nice inside leg kick. Jones has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Jones cracks Hawking with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Stephen Hawking has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hawking counters with a thumping low kick. Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hawking counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stephen Hawking has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Jones.

That was a close round but I would say that Moacyr Domingos De Matos will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A head kick by Torturo misses and De Matos counters with a thumping low kick. De Matos throws out a leg kick but Torturo moves out of range and De Matos only half commits. De Matos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Torturo's head. De Matos will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. De Matos staying out of range there. De Matos bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. A solid leg kick lands there for De Matos.
Torturo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A lazy left from De Matos finds it's target. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Torturo checks a leg kick. Torturo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Torturo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wer is looking to clinch. A leg kick checked by Velmu. Wer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Velmu manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Wer scores with a jab to the jaw. Velmu throws a body punch but Wer moves out of range. Velmu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wer. Wer has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Velmu throws a nice outside leg kick. An inside leg kick from Velmu misses. Wer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Velmu was well out of range. Poor timing from Wer. Wer ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Velmu lands with a nice low kick. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Wer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Velmu is looking to escape. Wer lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Velmu sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Velmu regains full guard. Nicely done. Wer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Velmu's head. Velmu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wer cracks Velmu with a solid left hand. Wer trying to control but Velmu is working from the bottom. Flo Wer has got the better of the ground game so far. Wer working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
