Miyazawa feints and as Gomez raises his hands in defense, Miyazawa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hashimoto.
Hashimoto misses with a kick to the body.
Li uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hashimoto.
Hashimoto shoots in looking for a takedown but Li manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hashimoto's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

It looks like Xiao Long Li has been cut.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Hashimoto working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Li keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hashimoto postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Li looks a forlorn figure.
