The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poullin tries for a takedown but Hammer circles away easily
and Hammer counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Poullin thinking.
Poullin closes the distance and clinches up with Hammer, looking for a takedown. Poullin pushes Hammer against the cage but Hammer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Hammer. No joy for Poullin on that attempt.
Antti Hammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stevo Poullin.

Cade has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Schwetty is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Schwetty does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cade lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Schwetty has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Schwetty and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

I think Grant might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Alice in Chains - Rooster. Uzannavabizch is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Brandon Loveladdy's band WE ARE THE CHOSEN : BREAKING THE KARMIC CYCLE. Phukyorselvf Uzannavabizch told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
