The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cecere tries a head kick but it misses.

Cecere rushes Hunter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hunter is looking for a takedown.
Hunter jumps guard but Cecere stands there with Hunter around his waist. Hunter gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cecere lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Cecere is pressed up against the cage. Hunter has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cecere down to the mat. Cecere avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Vieira decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Vieira has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Brick Brawlers MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Vieira is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ellison sees it coming and defends easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Pigano. Dandy does a little dance to reset his feet.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

We've been hearing reports that Barbossa has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Barbossa closes the distance and clinches up with Down, looking for a takedown. Barbossa pushes Down against the cage but Down circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
