The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hess lands a head shot.
A combination from Hess does no damage.
Juggernaut pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hess is out of range and Juggernaut settles back down.
Juggernaut pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A clash of legs there as Hess blocks the low kick.
Hess stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Juggernaut lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Bo Juggernaut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hess throws a body punch but Juggernaut moves out of range.
Juggernaut thuds his right hand into Hess's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hess throws a low kick but Juggernaut moves out of range easily.
Juggernaut fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hess manages to avoid it.
Hess keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Juggernaut has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Hess counters with a solid body kick.
Hess throws a low kick but Juggernaut moves out of range easily.

Hess feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Juggernaut's calf.
Hess scores with a crisp jab that stopped Juggernaut in his tracks.

It looks like Bo Juggernaut has been cut.
Hess lands a nice hook to Juggernaut's body. Juggernaut takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Juggernaut looks winded!

Hess thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Juggernaut if he has to take too many more of those.

Hess lands a big uppercut and Juggernaut crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Juggernaut looks OK. Hess waves Juggernaut back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hess turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Juggernaut is rocked!
Juggernaut on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hess. Hess obviously looking to wear him down.
Hess fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Juggernaut has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Juggernaut uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hess.
Hess throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hess throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hess throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hess scores with a push kick.
Juggernaut has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hess.
Hess cracks the inside of Juggernaut's front leg.

Hess cracks Juggernaut with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hess has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Juggernaut to stand back up!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hess feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Juggernaut's calf.
A good leg kick by Hess.
Hess looks to land a body kick but Juggernaut moved away.
Hess swings for the body but Juggernaut moves out of range.
Juggernaut swings widly with a right hand
and Hess counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Hess drops Juggernaut with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Juggernaut looks back up at him and smiles so Hess waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Juggernaut is still on wobbly legs! Can Hess finish him?
A slapping body kick lands there for Hess.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hess.
Hess thuds his shin into the meat of Juggernaut's side.
Hess lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Juggernaut head around and knocks him out cold! Hess hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jon Hess!
Jon Hess is the new heavyweight champion!
After winning the bout, Jon Hess thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
