The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vice's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Noonan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vice scrambles back to his feet.

and Noonan makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Vice throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Noonan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Noonan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Vice is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Noonan, into his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Michael Noonan will probably get the nod.

Noonan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Jeez, Michael Noonan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Miami Vice decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Michael Noonan was interviewed post fight and said 'Damn cuts...'.
