The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Latvala tries to avoid it but Elo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Latvala to the ground. Latvala escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Latvala fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Elo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Latvala scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Latvala misses with a hook. Elo ducked under it nicely.
Elo looks for a takedown but Latvala sprawls well.
