The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong shoots for a double leg takedown but Kent sprawls well. He's pushed Wong's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kent moves into range and clinches up with Wong.
Wong wants a takedown but no success here.
Wong tries to score a body lock takedown but Kent shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Clark Kent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Master Wong.

Kent has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wong after a bit of a struggle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kukko sizes up Crash with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Crash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kukko lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Lasi Kukko seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kukko closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Crash fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kukko manages to avoid it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Crash enables Kukko to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Crash manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
