The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Malapitan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stevens throws a nice looking combination but Malapitan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Malapitan doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Stevens gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Malapitan is trying to force a seperation but Stevens has the dominant position.

Stevens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stevens just misses with a punch to the body.
Stevens really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Malapitan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stevens.
Stevens takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stevens lands a brutal uppercut that launches Malapitan off his feet! Malapitan tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Timebmb jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Grande walks away with a smile on his face. Timebmb gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

enabling Grande to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Jukebox Timebmb has been cut.
Taco Grande has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jukebox Timebmb.
Timebmb throws a hook to the side of Grande's head but Grande sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Grande ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Timebmb moves away.
Timebmb swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Grande counters with a straight right hand.

Grande gets tackled into the cage by Timebmb. Timebmb maintains the clinch.
I was talking to Grande's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Grande lands an elbow inside.
Grande misses with a knee to the head.
Timebmb tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Timebmb blocks an elbow strike from Grande.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Timebmb has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Grande after a bit of a struggle.

Grande drops Timebmb with a big knee straight up the middle! Timebmb is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

That has opened up Jukebox Timebmb's cut even more.

Grande throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Timebmb blocks it with crossed arms.
Timebmb seems to have recovered his senses.
Grande misses with an elbow over the top.

Grande gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Timebmb is looking for a takedown.
Grande lands a right hand.

Jukebox Timebmb's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Grande drops Timebmb onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Timebmb is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Timebmb is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Grande pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Grande is defending well against a takedown attempt.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jukebox Timebmb's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
