The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darkside is looking to chop away at Glass's legs. Darkside throws a head kick but Glass moves out of range.
Darkside throws a low kick but Glass moves out of range easily. Glass is looking for the big counter here. Darkside buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Glass with a poor takedown and Darkside counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Darkside displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Glass. Darkside fakes the leg kick and cracks Glass in the body. Darkside lands a right hook to the body.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A nice side step and Glass releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Glass takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Darkside dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Glass. That did some damage! Darkside is looking to land body kicks. Darkside misses with a leg kick and Glass counters with a nice low kick that buckles Darkside's knee momentarily. Glass keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Glass throwing strikes from guard but Darkside blocks nicely. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Romero has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Romero and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Perhana motions for Romero to come forward. Perhana throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. As Perhana backs away, Romero returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Perhana keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Romero takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Perhana throws a leg kick but Romero sees it coming and checks it nicely. Romero takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Aquiles Romero has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A big left from Romero misses. Romero throws a nice looking combination but Perhana bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A slow jab from Romero misses its intended target. Perhana slips a straight right by Romero. Perhana is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Romero. Romero takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Perhana throws the left hand but Romero avoids the punch easily. Romero connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Perhana blocks a jab. Perhana catches Romero with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! The crowd cheers as Romero lands an impressive looking overhand right. Perhana doesn't seem phased though. Perhana comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Romero is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Perhana. Perhana throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Romero on the side of the head. Romero closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
And that's the end of the fight! Pate Perhana comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Perhana has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawlor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but OQuinn was well out of range. Poor timing from Lawlor. We've been informed that OQuinn has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. OQuinn throws a body punch but Lawlor moves out of range. Lawlor lands a jab. A shot to the body from Lawlor misses and OQuinn counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like John Lawlor has been cut. OQuinn closes the distance and clinches. OQuinn breaks the clinch.
A jab lands there for Lawlor. OQuinn scores with a jab to the body. Lawlor shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches OQuinn napping and manages to drive through into side control! OQuinn slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lawlor's guard. Lawlor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stephensson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jaksinen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Qasi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jaksinen gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Jaksinen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jaksinen connects with a leg kick. Qasi looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Jaksinen lands the left hand. A combination from Qasi does no damage. Jaksinen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Qasi's calf. Qasi shoots for a takedown but Jaksinen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Qasi fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jaksinen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Jaksinen lands an overhand right.
And that's the end of the fight! Espo Jaksinen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jaksinen, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
