The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins misses with a series of wild punches.
Hopkins feints a jab promting Jokinen to slip. Hopkins then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jokinen slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hopkins moves out of range of the body kick.
Jokinen throws a leg kick but Hopkins checks it.
Jokinen lands with a kick to the temple. Hopkins shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Vinny Hopkins has been cut.
Jokinen throws out a loose jab but Hopkins uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jokinen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jokinen or perhaps it was just good defense by Hopkins, which made it look bad.
