The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Haines with that takedown attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Morgan. Haines does a little dance to reset his feet.
A combination from Haines does no damage.
Morgan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Morgan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Morgan is looking for a kimura but Haines is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Morgan to get the leverage.
Haines slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Haines looking for a triangle here. Morgan is fighting it but it looks tight! Haines pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Morgan is tapping out - this one is all over!

After the fight, Burley Haines was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
