The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut there from Karlsen.
It looks like Steve Austin has been cut. Karlsen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Karlsen. Karlsen keeps the fight on the outside. Austin looks to clinch and Karlsen counters with a crisp right hand that drops Austin! Karlsen lets Austin back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chiddell with a lazy takedown attempt and Walker counters with a straight right hand. Chiddell closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. With the fighters up against the cage, Walker throws an elbow but misses. Walker gets a trip takedown into half guard. Chiddell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Chiddell actively working from the bottom here. Chiddell looking for a kimura from the bottom but Walker passes into side control! Walker looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Walker clinches up with Chiddell and pushes him back against the cage. Chiddell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Walker is looking to take a break and control but Chiddell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chiddell is looking to get back to full guard here but Walker has managed to pass to side control instead. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chiddell tries to buck Walker off but Walker is having none of it.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alex Voss! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paulsen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Paulsen scores with a hook. Paulsen misses with a body kick. Voss throws a low kick but it's checked well by Paulsen. Voss pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Paulsen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A lazy left from Paulsen finds it's target. Voss takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Paulsen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Voss has time to react. Paulsen scores with the left hand. Voss knows he should have avoided that one. Paulsen cracks Voss with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Voss looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Paulsen finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Paulsen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Voss looks winded! Paulsen throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Voss walks straight into a right hand from Paulsen - that's dropped him! Paulsen jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Voss from any more punishment! Voss complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lubek Boyko! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boyko bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Highfield's head backwards. Highfield fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boyko manages to avoid it. James Highfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boyko lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Highfield stuffs the takedown attempt from Boyko. Boyko gets slowly back to his feet. Boyko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Highfield.
Boyko shoots in for a takedown but Highfield shows good takedown defense. Highfield thinks about countering with a head kick. Highfield on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Boyko jabbing away but nothing is landing. Highfield on the wrong end of a nice hook. Highfield ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Nice defenses there by Boyko. A nice leg kick lands there from Boyko. Highfield lands a jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Highfield swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Highfield looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Boyko finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Highfield throws the left hand but Boyko avoids the punch easily. Highfield throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyko staying out of range there. Boyko wants to counter with a clinch but Highfield pushes him away. Highfield lands with a thumping leg kick.
Highfield catches Boyko with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Boyko shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Boyko stops Highfield from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. My spies in Ironfist MMA inform me that Boyko has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Boyko thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Highfield pushes Boyko off looking to stand but Boyko dives back in and keeps control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boyko connects with a leg kick. Highfield looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Boyko stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Highfield throws an off balance right hand
and Boyko counters with an outside leg kick.
Boyko thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Highfield if he has to take too many more of those.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Highfield misses the shot to the body. Highfield misses with a hook. Boyko drives through with a takedown into Highfield's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Boyko tries to free his leg and advance position but Highfield is retaining full guard. Boyko slips nicely into half guard. Boyko perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Highfield taking some punishment here, with Boyko in his half guard. Boyko is looking to take a break and control but Highfield is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Highfield wants to get back to his feet. Boyko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Boyko is nestled in close to Highfield, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Highfield wants to get back to his feet. Boyko is trying for a kimura here. Highfield looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Boyko wins by kimura!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taparzo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
It looks like Peter Brax has been cut. Brax tries to clinch there but Taparzo circles away.
Brax shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Brax looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Brax fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Brax shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Taparzo as he jumps to the side. Taparzo is looking to counter punch. Brax walks into a jab. Taparzo looks to land a left hand but Brax moved out of range nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brax blocks a jab. Taparzo jabbing away but nothing is landing. Taparzo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brax unleashes a big counter combination but Taparzo bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Taparzo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brax.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taparzo looks to land a right hand but Brax moved out of range. A little jabbing left from Brax on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Sloppy strikes from Taparzo. Those never looked like landing. Taparzo moves into the clinch. Taparzo gets underhooks to prevent Brax's takedown attempt.
Luca Taparzo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Brax. Taparzo scores with a shoulder strike. A body shot lands from Taparzo.
Taparzo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Brax tries to break free but Taparzo pushes him back against the cage. Brax drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Taparzo lands a right hand. A frustrated look appears on Brax's face as he tries to break the clinch. Brax can't get the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Taparzo lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Brax backwards. Taparzo lands with a short shot to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Taparzo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Taparzo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brax. A little jabbing left from Brax on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Taparzo jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Taparzo drops Brax with a beautiful combination! Brax stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Taparzo is looking for the KO!

That has opened up Peter Brax's cut even more. Brax glances at the clock... BAM! Taparzo nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Brax crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Brax is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harper throws a nice looking combination but Danielsson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Harper lands a slapping body shot.
Harper pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Danielsson back to the cage. Harper follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Henrik Danielsson has been cut. Harper throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Danielsson throws a right hand that Harper ducks under and follows up with a left that Harper also avoids with ease. Harper fails to land with a series of punches.
Harper throws a right and a left that both miss. Danielsson seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Harper cracks a nice hook into Danielsson's ribs. Alex Harper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harper plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Danielsson swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Danielsson face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

It looks like James Krause has been cut. Caram cracks the inside of Krause's front leg. A nice inside leg kick there by Caram. That's going to slow Krause down. Caram lands a body shot.
Caram looks for the body kick but Krause saw that one coming. Caram stuffs the takedown. Caram wants to counter with a clinch but Krause pushes him away. Caram pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Caram gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Caram lands a right hand. Caram tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Oh Krause is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Caram taking a breather. Krause seems to have got his legs back now. Caram manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Caram unloads a knee to the mid-section. Krause is trying to pull guard but Caram turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Caram stalling against the cage.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jamari Caram. Caram pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Caram throws a low kick but Krause moves out of range easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krause moves in looking to clinch but Caram pushes him off. Krause looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Caram tries to get to full guard but Krause has control of the leg. Caram has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Caram really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krause. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Caram gets full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krause thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Krause tries to free his leg and advance position but Caram is retaining full guard. Krause is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Caram is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Caram has escaped and now he's on top! Caram seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Krause has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Caram can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Caram must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Caram works over Krause with some ground and pound from guard. Caram trying to control the position from guard on top but Krause is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Krause is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Caram rolls with it to try and escape but Krause cranks on the arm and Caram is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
