The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoist tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Deverux manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
McCoist throws out a powerful jab.
McCoist fails with an attempt to clinch.
Deverux lands a glancing blow to the side of McCoist's head.
Deverux tests McCoist's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Deverux lands a really nice looking cross but McCoist seems unphased.

It looks like Wiley McCoist has been cut.
McCoist has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Deverux is trying to force a seperation but McCoist has the dominant position.

Deverux pushes McCoist away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, McCoist gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Deverux is looking to get back to his feet here but McCoist is keeping cool and he's managed to take Deverux's back.

Knight comes to the cage accompanied by Shovel Knight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Knight seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Knight is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Katanov has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Katanov!

Katanov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Knight is proving hard to escape from.

Katanov stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Knight has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Katanov manages to get his head free but now Knight has transitioned to an armbar! Katanov grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Knight! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

That was a close round but I would say that Ratimir Yenin will probably get the nod.

Artem Nazarev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nazarev steps in with a hook that catches Yenin right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Nazarev follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Yenin looks absolutely devastated.
