29 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Mageramsky! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mageramsky showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pavil.
Nice defenses there by Pavil. Pavil throws a big counter combination but Mageramsky scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Mageramsky tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pavil sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mageramsky somewhat. Mageramsky throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Pavil lands with a right hand.
It looks like Joseph Mageramsky has been cut. Pavil connects with a right hand. Mageramsky shakes it off. Mageramsky throws a shot from downtown. Pavil moves away and avoids it. Mageramsky changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pavil tries to avoid it but Mageramsky manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pavil to the ground. Pavil escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Pavil swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pavil misses with a looping right. Mageramsky shoots in and drives through. Pavil sprawls well. Pavil swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Marcos Pavil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joseph Mageramsky. Mageramsky takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pavil ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pavil ducks down and throws a hook to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pavil scores with a nice strike. Pavil throws a hook but Mageramsky avoids it easily. Mageramsky appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

It looked like Pavil was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Mageramsky misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pavil.
A little feinted left hand from Pavil on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Mageramsky getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Pavil fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mageramsky manages to avoid it. Mageramsky swinging wildly here.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mageramsky! But no joy. Mageramsky with a lazy takedown attempt and Pavil counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Pavil misses with a wild combination.
This has been an exciting period of action! Pavil connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Pavil is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mageramsky. A decent looking cross lands there for Pavil. Mageramsky throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pavil sees it coming and avoids it easily. Mageramsky takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Pavil fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mageramsky manages to avoid it. Mageramsky takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Pavil smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Mageramsky thuds a left hand into Pavil's body. Pavil cracks Mageramsky with an open hand slap. Pavil looks to score with a jab to the body but Mageramsky is just out of range. Nice cross by Pavil. Mageramsky shoots in for a takedown but Pavil shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pavil defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mageramsky. Mageramsky tries to move into range but Pavil moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Pavil tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mageramsky was well out of range. Poor timing from Pavil. Pavil is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Pavil gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mageramsky.

Mageramsky looks winded! Pavil punishes Mageramsky's body with a nice straight punch. Mageramsky drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Mageramsky looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pavil cracks Mageramsky with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Pavil displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mageramsky. Pavil is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Pavil throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mageramsky. Pavil throws a series of punches but Mageramsky avoids them all with ease. Pavil scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mageramsky in his tracks. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pavil sizes up Mageramsky with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Pavil lands a big right hand that sends Mageramsky crashing to the mat! Pavil stays standing though and waves Mageramsky back to his feet!
Mageramsky is rocked! A swing and a miss from Mageramsky. Mageramsky thows a left - swing and a miss! Pavil drops Mageramsky with a beautiful combination! Mageramsky stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pavil is looking for the KO! Mageramsky is still on wobbly legs! Can Pavil finish him? Mageramsky throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Mageramsky fails to land with a series of punches.
Mageramsky seems to have recovered his senses. Pavil steps in with a hook that catches Mageramsky right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Pavil follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Mageramsky looks absolutely devastated.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hermit forces Choliman back against the cage and clinches. Hermit is looking to take this one to the mat. Hermit tries for a takedown but Choliman manages to get underhooks.
Choliman has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hermit avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Choliman decides to pull guard. Hermit won't allow Choliman to sweep him here. Hermit trying to control but Choliman is working from the bottom. Hermit chips away with some ground and pound. God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Choliman wants to pass the guard but Hermit is keeping the position. Hermit is trying to keep Choliman in close.

Dellaria comes to the cage accompanied by Kill or Become by CANNIBAL CORPSE. Karl Pilkington struggled to make weight for this fight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pilkington loads up on a big right hand but Dellaria slips the punch. Dellaria wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Dellaria misses the shot to the body. Pilkington shoots in and drives through. Dellaria sprawls well. Greg Dellaria seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dellaria misses with a wild body shot. Pilkington tries to counter with a clinch but Dellaria shakes him off and moves away. Pilkington's coach down at School of Hard Knocks was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pilkington's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Black got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chung has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Black has managed to get both his arms back between Chung's legs - danger averted.
And that's the end of the fight! Wang Chung comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chung has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Tanner dips to his left and cracks David with an uppercut! Tanner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Melekh David seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. That kick from Tanner tenderised David's leg. David is trying to keep his angry face on. Tanner connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between David's hands. David moves into range and clinches up with Tanner. Tanner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. David working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Tanner lands an elbow that stopped David in his tracks for a moment. David fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That was a close round but I would say that Melekh David will probably get the nod. That's time! David's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

David throws out a leg kick but Tanner moves out of range and David only half commits. Dick Tanner seems to be getting the better of the standup. David avoids a lazy jab quite easily. David jabbing away but nothing is landing. Tanner lands a jab to the nose. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A left lands for Tanner. Tanner connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. David shoots for a double leg takedown but Tanner sprawls well. He's pushed David's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Melekh David. That's going to take a lot out of him. David throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. David will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tanner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Yikes throws a right hand that Penn ducks under and follows up with a left that Penn also avoids with ease. Yikes stalks Penn and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Penn's face. Penn staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like James Penn has been cut. Yikes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Penn takes one to the chin there. Datsik crunches a lovely knee into Nash's ribcage. Datsik lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Datsik. Clinched against the cage, Datsik lands a big elbow that drops Nash! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Nash is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

Viacheslav Datsik decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
