Power is trying to defend but Pereira finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Pereira is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Pereira eats them both and turns towards Power to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Power moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Power throws a body punch but Pereira moves out of range. Power defending well as Pereira loads up on a big left hand. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Power lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pereira has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pereira and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Pereira is looking to counter with a body kick. Pereira digs a good hook to Power's body.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Pereira scrambles back to his feet. Pereira defending well as Power loads up on a big left hand. Pereira wants to clinch and Power counters with a series of strikes. Pereira will be more careful next time no doubt. Pereira throws a head kick but Power moves out of range.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Radic uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Anderson. Radic dives in for a single leg takedown but Anderson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Anderson thows a body kick. Radic tries to catch it but that hurt him. Radic fails with the takedown. Anderson scores with a body shot.
Radic shoots for a takedown but Anderson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mr Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirko Radic. Anderson digs a good body shot into Radic's ribs. Anderson cracks Radic with an open hand slap. Anderson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Radic is defended easily by Anderson. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! No luck for Radic with that takedown attempt. Anderson works his way back into a safe position though. Anderson scoring with some ground and pound. Radic keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully. Anderson throws a big elbow that misses. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Radic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Mr Anderson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Can Anderson avoid being mounted? Anderson is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Anderson wants to get back to full guard.
