The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angelo is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Angelo tries to clinch up. Ruffin needs to keep his hands up - Angelo had a free shot at his head there. Angelo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wightman thows a left - swing and a miss! Wightman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've been told by Bozzi's head coaches at Russian Fighting Community Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Wightman misses with a two punch combination.

Wightman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Wightman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bozzi was covering up waiting for the punch and Wightman finishes the takedown easily into guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Wightman working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Bozzi keeping full guard, as Wightman tries to pass. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Wightman postures up and lands a big shot to Bozzi's brow.

Well Wightman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Campbell shoots in looking for a takedown but McAdoo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Campbell's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Campbell slips a jab from McAdoo. Campbell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McAdoo but McAdoo pushes him off and we're back to square one. A big left from Campbell misses. McAdoo cracks Campbell with a good jab. Campbell has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Campbell lands a head kick. McAdoo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Noah McAdoo has been cut. McAdoo scores with a hook to the body. Campbell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Campbell tries to clinch but McAdoo is having none of it. McAdoo connects with a body shot that sends Campbell's belly button to the back. and Campbell counters with a right hand to the body. McAdoo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. McAdoo trying to control the position but Campbell is working away. McAdoo takes a little break here. Campbell wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Campbell is looking for a sweep. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. McAdoo controlling the position from side mount. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Campbell is defended easily by McAdoo. A momentary lapse in concentration from McAdoo enables Campbell to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. McAdoo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. McAdoo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. McAdoo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McAdoo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. McAdoo keeping moving, preventing Campbell from controlling successfully.

Campbell is rocked! Campbell takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Oh Campbell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! McAdoo ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Campbell's jaw. Campbell's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! McAdoo does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Wasp lands a nice uppercut. Wasp pushes Macari back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. Wasp lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Macari is trying to pull guard but Wasp has him pressed against the ropes. Macari jumps into guard, dragging Wasp to the mat.
Macari has a closed guard, preventing Wasp from standing up. We've been hearing that Wasp has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Wasp avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Macari jumps guard but Wasp turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing. Wasp makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Wasp scores with an uppercut up the middle.
It looks like Thiago Macari has been cut. Wasp's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wasp looks to land a combination. Macari sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Wasp lets loose with a powerful body kick. Macari will feel that in the morning. Macari looks winded! Wasp closes the distance and pushes Macari back into the ropes. Wasp landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Macari jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wasp walks away with a smile on his face. Macari gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Wasp scores with a jab to the jaw. Wasp scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A decent looking body kick lands there for Wasp. Macari has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Wasp. Wasp lands a big right hand that sends Macari crashing to the mat! Wasp stays standing though and waves Macari back to his feet!
Macari is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wasp clinches up with Macari and pushes him back against the ropes. Macari is still on wobbly legs! Can Wasp finish him? Wasp creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Macari with a big uppercut! Macari tries to clinch up but Wasp pushes him back against the ropes and lands another monster strike that crumples Macari to the mat! Macari covers up and Wasp unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Youngblood throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Seikkeris's waist but Seikkeris gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Youngblood off to one side. Seikkeris pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Youngblood avoids the head kick by Seikkeris.
Seikkeris displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Youngblood. Seikkeris drives through and clinches with Youngblood against the ropes.

Seikkeris pushes off an throws an elbow but Youngblood leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes. Seikkeris tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Youngblood avoids it. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Seikkeris throws an elbow but it misses.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Seikkeris. Youngblood is trying to break free. A short right from Seikkeris. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Youngblood. Youngblood takes an elbow to the forehead. Youngblood has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Seikkeris is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Seikkeris looks to throw an elbow but misses. Youngblood is looking to break free of the clinch but Seikkeris has double underhooks. Youngblood pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Youngblood has his takedown stuffed and Seikkeris makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Youngblood feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Youngblood is breathing heavily.

Seikkeris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Seikkeris lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Seikkeris is looking to work some ground and pound but Youngblood has wrist control. Seikkeris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Youngblood utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Seikkeris lands a couple of elbows. Youngblood trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Seikkeris trying to control but Youngblood is working from the bottom. Seikkeris looking to sit in guard and control but Youngblood gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seikkeris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Youngblood is one step ahead there. Seikkeris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Youngblood throwing strikes but missing. Youngblood connects with a couple of short punches. Seikkeris working a defensive guard but Youngblood manages to pass into side control anyway.

He's bucked Youngblood off and has taken his back! Seikkeris lands a shot to the head. Youngblood prevents Seikkeris from getting a body triangle. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The referee is taking a good look at Youngblood as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Seikkeris!
