Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thomas Clawnes! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris lands a leg kick that knocks Clawnes off balance momentarily. Paul Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harris throws the left hand but Clawnes avoids the punch easily. Harris uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Clawnes. Harris throws a low kick but Clawnes moves out of range easily. Clawnes lands a really nice looking cross but Harris seems unphased.
It looks like Paul Harris has been cut. Clawnes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A low kick from Harris misses and Clawnes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Harris stuns Clawnes with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Harris feints and then cracks Clawnes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Clawnes down. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Harris uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Clawnes. Harris jabs Clawnes to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris tries for a takedown but Clawnes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Good standup being displayed there by Harris as he connects with a hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Leonidas working aggressively here.

And that's the end of the fight! Achilles Leonidas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Augustus has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Taylor throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Pen is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Taylor . Pen motions for Taylor to come forward. Pen throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Pen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Taylor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Pen misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Taylor is looking to reverse the position. Pen lands a few punches from side control. Taylor is not content to let Pen control the position. Pen cracks Taylor with an elbow. That is naaassty. Taylor tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pen with the ground and pound but Taylor regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Taylor moves into full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tikkanen throws an overhand right that lands on Bunting's shoulder, as Bunting tries to avoid the shot. Tikkanen delivers a nice body kick. Bunting lands a slapping body shot.
Bunting thumps Tikkanen with a low kick. Tikkanen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bunting drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tikkanen tries to bench press Bunting off him but Bunting keeps the position. Tikkanen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bunting's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hashimoto closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. The Pirate throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hashimoto's head. Hashimoto keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Hashimoto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. That kick from The Pirate tenderised Hashimoto's leg. Hashimoto is trying to keep his angry face on. Some bone on bone action there as Hashimoto checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Hashimoto tries to counter with a takedown but The Pirate is quick to defend against it. Hashimoto pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've been informed that The Pirate has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Hashimoto takes a shot to the nose. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Pirate feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hashimoto's calf. The Pirate is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hashimoto had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. The Pirate walks into a straight right hand from Hashimoto. Hashimoto takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

The Pirate thuds his right hand into Hashimoto's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Hashimoto chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before The Pirate can pounce on him.
The Pirate goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Hashimoto throws a body punch but The Pirate moves out of range. The Pirate has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hashimoto checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Hashimoto throws a lazy right hand but The Pirate sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hashimoto is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. The Pirate moves out of range of the strikes. A slow jab from Hashimoto misses its intended target. The Pirate tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hashimoto crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from The Pirate - the referee stops the clock and Hashimoto gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says The Pirate. Hashimoto manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. The Pirate takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Pirate with a body punch. A glancing blow. Hashimoto throws a push kick but The Pirate slaps the foot to one side.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drogo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Campos pushes Drogo up against the cage in a clinch. Campos lands with a left to the head. A head punch on the inside from Campos fails to land. Campos tries to work over Drogo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Campos is pressed up against the cage. Drogo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Campos down to the mat. Campos avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Campos misses with an uppercut. Drogo saw that one coming. Drogo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Campos.

"I'm sorry" says Campos. Drogo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Drogo connects with a solid leg kick. A big right from Drogo misses. Campos takes a swing at Drogo's ribcage but misses. Campos throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Drogo on the side of the head. Drogo throws a jab when Campos was well out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Campos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Drogo. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Campos! But no joy. Drogo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Campos throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Drogo on the side of the head. Campos lands a big right hand that sends Drogo crashing to the mat! Campos stays standing though and waves Drogo back to his feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Drogo walks straight into a right hand from Campos - that's dropped him! Campos jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Drogo from any more punishment! Drogo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A relieved looking Daniel Campos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
