Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Bujol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Amp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Michael Amp was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

11 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Amp! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amp fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Bujol throws a nice looking combination but Amp bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Amp throws a series of punches but Bujol avoids them all with ease. Nice shot lands for Amp. Bujol just misses with a punch to the body.
Amp scores with a jab. A lazy left from Amp finds it's target. Amp misses with a looping left. Bujol appears to be looking for a big counter. Bujol tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Amp is able to avoid easily. Bujol with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Amp to score with a decent uppercut. Amp throws a lazy right hand but Bujol sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bujol appears to be looking for a big counter. Amp lands a nice shot that snaps Bujol's head back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Amp throws a nice inside leg kick. Amp doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Bujol has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Amp finds it's way round the side to connect with Bujol's head. Amp comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A nice leg kick lands there from Bujol. Bujol connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Bujol attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Amp is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bujol lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Amp cracks Bujol with a good jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Amp misses with a looping right. Bujol throws out a leg kick but Amp moves out of range and Bujol only half commits. Bujol ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bujol is looking to land body kicks. Amp avoids the body shot from Bujol.
Michael Amp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bujol with a nice cross. Bujol tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Amp manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Amp bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bujol looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Amp ducks under a wild hook from Bujol. Bujol looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Amp scores with a nice strike. Bujol lands a body shot.

Bujol tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Amp manages to circle out of the way. Amp throws a leg kick but Bujol checks it. Bujol goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amp will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Bujol circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Amp misses with an uppercut. Bujol saw that one coming. Bujol will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ibson Preuss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Preuss breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Preuss wants to break the clinch but can't.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Damhuis throws a head kick that misses. Damhuis looks for a takedown but Sioldster sprawls well. Damhuis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Damhuis throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Sioldster lands with an overhand left. Sioldster throws a nice looking combination but Damhuis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Mike Sioldster is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Damhuis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Damhuis throws a head kick that misses. Damhuis takes a body punch but keeps moving. Sioldster takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Sioldster tries to buck Damhuis off but Damhuis is having none of it. Damhuis tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The strikes coming from Damhuis are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Sioldster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Damhuis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sioldster is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sioldster can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sioldster is looking for a sweep. Damhuis creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sioldster sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Damhuis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Damhuis controlling the position from side mount. Damhuis is chipping away with strikes.
Sioldster can't do much from the bottom here. Damhuis working the body and head with strikes. Damhuis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sioldster is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Damhuis working the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Damhuis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sioldster has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sioldster and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Sioldster staying out of range there. Damhuis looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Harris jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kearney walks away with a smile on his face. Harris gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kearney connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Villamora's coach down at Hell's Balls NY Hellcademy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Villamora's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. A bone on bone clash there as Brown blocks the leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action! Brown misses with the body kick and Villamora counters with a shoot takedown. Brown fights it but they end up in guard.

Cider throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Peace shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cider counters with a head kick. That will keep Peace thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! A head kick misses from Cider . Peace takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Cider feints and then cracks Peace's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Peace down. Cider bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Peace's head. Cider connects with a high kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Peace misses with a wild body shot. The fighters circling - Cider throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Peace fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cider avoids it really well and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cider stuffs the takedown. Cider now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Cider scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Peace has his takedown stuffed and Cider counters with a nice low kick that buckles Peace's knee momentarily. Peace shoots in but no luck this time. Cider throws a head kick that Peace semi-blocks.
Cider scores with a push kick. Cider thuds a left hand into Peace's body. A combination from Peace does no damage. Peace takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Cider lands a lovely overhand right. Cider scores with a one two! Peace had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Cider lands a nice leg kick that just misses Peace's sensitive parts. Cider displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Peace.
And that's the end of the fight! Justin Cider comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Cider winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hurley throws a half hearted mid kick. Hurley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vitalli sees it coming and avoids it easily. A good leg kick by Hurley. A leg kick checked by Vitalli. Vitalli looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Vitalli is looking to land body kicks. Hurley looks like he wants to counter punch here. Hurley forces Vitalli back against the cage and clinches. Hurley misses with a knee to the head. Vitalli swings wildly with an uppercut but Hurley uses good head movement to avoid it. A short left from Vitalli. Hurley missing with knees to the body.

It looks like Vincenzo Vitalli has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vitalli is working Hurley over against the cage. Vitalli fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Hurley has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Vitalli is landing a low percentage of strikes. Hurley misses with a straight left. Hurley goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Nice defenses there by Vitalli. Vitalli takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Vitalli checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Vitalli misses with a looping right. Hurley throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Vitalli doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A nice inside leg kick there by Hurley. That's going to slow Vitalli down. Hurley misses with a low kick.

Hurley drops Vitalli with a naaaaasty hook - Vitalli is in real trouble here! Hurley dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
