I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rob Mills was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson swinging wildly here.
Mills scores with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Jackson is trying to control the position but Mills postures up. Mills sitting in guard here, content to control. Mills advances to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mills content to control rather than advance. Mills lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson looking for submissions off his back. Mills looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mills in particular looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. It looks like Mills might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Jackson has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Mills is on him like a limpet, forcing Jackson back against the cage. Jackson tries to land a knee to the head but Mills blocks with his arms.

Mills is trying to maintain a safe position but Jackson gets an underhook and turns Mills into the cage. Jackson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mills is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jackson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Mills tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mills is trying to pull guard but Jackson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Cedric Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Mills.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mills takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Jackson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Jackson misses with a shot to the kidneys.

He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jackson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jackson wants to control from the top but Mills keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Mills is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Jackson tries to hold on but Mills postures up. Rob Mills has got the better of the ground game so far. Jackson has given up his back here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mills is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Mills gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Mills gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Mills apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Jackson is rocked! Jackson gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simon Vale! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vale defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Face. Vale shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Vale with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Vale slips a nice elbow through Face's hands, connecting with Face's forehead. Face could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Vale scoring with strikes to the body and head. Vale looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Face with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Vale seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Vale working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Face on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Vale passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Face! Vale controlling from the full mount. Vale working the ground and pound effectively.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vale lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round. Vale postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Face in real trouble here! The ref calls for Face to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Simon Vale! During a confident post fight interview, Simon Vale thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A clash of legs there as Molovgomedov blocks the low kick. It appears Molovgomedov was looking to counter with a kick there. Molovgomedov avoids the body shot from Parnell.
Molovgomedov throws a jab when Parnell was well out of range. A kick lands to the mid section there for Molovgomedov. Parnell lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Molovgomedov misses with a looping left. Parnell scores with a head kick. Molovgomedov tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Parnell tries a low kick but Molovgomedov avoids it. Molovgomedov scores with a takedown into Parnell's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Molovgomedov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Molovgomedov throws a big right hand that misses. Molovgomedov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Parnell is keeping the position for now. That's three minutes gone in the round. Molovgomedov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Parnell's guard. Molovgomedov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Molovgomedov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Parnell for as long as he can get away with. Parnell keeping moving, preventing Molovgomedov from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Parnell shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Parnell wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seleukos Molovgomedov. That's going to take a lot out of him. A slapping body kick lands there for Parnell. Parnell throws a half hearted mid kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Parnell. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Still in half guard, Parnell seems content to control. Molovgomedov wants to improve his position but Parnell is controlling well.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Seleukos Molovgomedov. I think Parnell has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morrow avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Morrow has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Molovgomedov fails to land with a series of punches.

Sergiu Petrescu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chulainn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Petrescu. Chulainn drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Petrescu defends it well. Petrescu shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Ferguson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Banks.

Turd Ferguson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ferguson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Banks does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Ferguson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Banks! Ferguson dives in looking to finish! Banks is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Turd Ferguson! A less than humble Turd Ferguson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams has his takedown stuffed and Buro counters with a stiff right hand. Buro throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Williams with a poor takedown and Buro counters with a nice uppercut. Buro defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Williams. Brain Buro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rory Williams. Danga de danga de dang - Buro scores with a four punch combination! Williams has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Buro finds it's way round the side to connect with Williams's head.
Williams is rocked! Williams drops his hands momentarily and Buro takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Buro finish him? Williams with a lazy takedown attempt and Buro counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
