29 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Alfredo Torres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Mcdermott! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres lands with a kick to the temple. Mcdermott shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Alfredo Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mcdermott walks into a jab. Mcdermott closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Torres looks to land a right hand but Mcdermott moved out of range. Mcdermott shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Torres sprawls well. Torres wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mcdermott gets slowly back to his feet. Torres defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mcdermott. Mcdermott has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Torres. Torres throws a wild body kick that Mcdermott sees coming a mile off. Mcdermott has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Torres. Torres misses with a head kick.

Mcdermott dives in and grabs Torres's left leg, looking for a takedown. Torres pushes down on Mcdermott's head and hops out. Alfredo Torres has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terry Mcdermott. Torres tries to work over Mcdermott's front leg with a kick but Mcdermott checks it. Mcdermott blocks a head kick by Torres.
Torres is looking to slow Mcdermott down with leg kicks. Mcdermott fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mcdermott chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Torres can pounce on him.
Mcdermott fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Torres avoids it really well and circles away. Mcdermott dives in and grabs Torres's left leg, looking for a takedown. Torres pushes down on Mcdermott's head and hops out. Nice straight punches there by Mcdermott. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mcdermott.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torres throws a good cross that connects.
Torres throws a leg kick that is checked and Mcdermott cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Mcdermott shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Torres sprawls well. Mcdermott is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Torres misses with a head kick.
Mcdermott checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. A countering left hand to the body from Mcdermott misses. Torres ducks under a wild hook from Mcdermott. Torres lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Torres scores with a jab to the jaw. A head kick lands from Torres that sends Mcdermott to the canvas. Mcdermott tries to scramble back to his feet but Torres brings him back down into side control. Mcdermott is still in real trouble! Can Torres finish him?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torres wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mcdermott, who protects the arm well. Mcdermott is not content to let Torres control the position. Torres thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Mcdermott is trying to work for a sweep but Torres has mounted him! Torres has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mcdermott's face.
Mcdermott takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Torres's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singh scores with the left hand. Wakizashi knows he should have avoided that one. Wakizashi lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wakizashi throws a hook but Singh blocks it. Wakizashi throws a body shot but no joy. Singh looks to land a left hand but Wakizashi moved out of range nicely. Singh closes the distance and clinches up with Wakizashi, looking for a takedown. Singh pushes Wakizashi against the cage but Wakizashi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wakizashi throws out a leg kick but Singh moves out of range and Wakizashi only half commits. Wakizashi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Singh is looking to slow Wakizashi down with leg kicks. Singh steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wakizashi. Singh jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Wakizashi lunges at Singh with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Singh's hand. Singh throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Singh throws a leg kick enabling Wakizashi to counter with a crisp jab. Singh throws out a powerful jab. Wakizashi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Wakizashi seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Wakizashi lands a jab to the nose. Wakizashi misses with a straight left. Wakizashi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Singh is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wakizashi. Singh connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Singh clobbers Wakizashi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Singh jabs Wakizashi right on the nose. Wakizashi blinks but takes it well. Wakizashi throws a predictable looking body shot
and Singh counters with a straight right hand. Wakizashi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Singh to score an easy takedown into full guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh with a flurry of punches that miss. Singh in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Singh being controlled here momentarily. Singh throwing strikes from guard but Wakizashi blocks nicely. Singh trying to control the position from guard on top but Wakizashi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wakizashi controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Singh throws a big elbow that misses. Singh controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Singh throws the left hand but Wakizashi avoids the punch easily. Wakizashi moves away from the strike by Singh. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Singh is defended easily by Wakizashi. Wakizashi wants to slow Singh down by chopping away at his legs. Wakizashi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Singh throws out the jab. Azadshatru Singh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wakizashi with a hook. Wakizashi is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Wakizashi avoids the body shot from Singh.
Wakizashi appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Wakizashi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Singh misses with a looping left. Wakizashi throws a quick counter head kick but Singh was just out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Azadshatru Singh will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wakizashi avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Wakizashi misses with a hook to the body
and Singh counters with a good low kick that Wakizashi was not able to check. Singh misses with a hook. Wakizashi ducked under it nicely. Wakizashi throws a leg kick that is checked and Singh counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Wakizashi lands a body shot.

Singh throws a right hand that Wakizashi ducks under and follows up with a left that Wakizashi also avoids with ease. Singh throws a leg kick which misses Wakizashi's front leg but catches the back leg as Wakizashi tries to avoid it. Wakizashi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Singh lands a slapping body shot.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wakizashi tries to escape but Singh is in control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Singh looks up at the clock and then as Wakizashi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Singh smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Singh tries to move into range but Wakizashi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Wakizashi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Singh feints a counter leg kick. Wakizashi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Singh darts in looking for a takedown but Wakizashi gets double underhooks and turns Singh into the cage. A nice inside leg kick there by Wakizashi. That's going to slow Singh down. Nice uppercut there from Singh. Wakizashi is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Donk. Singh catches Wakizashi right on the button with a cross. Singh fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wakizashi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Singh lands a slapping body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Singh cracks the inside of Wakizashi's front leg. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Singh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
It looked like Wakizashi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Singh stuns Wakizashi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Singh checks the leg kick. Singh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Some wild striking there from Wakizashi.
Singh takes a swing at Wakizashi's ribcage but misses. Singh jabbing away but nothing is landing. Azadshatru Singh is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Singh pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wakizashi is out of range and Singh settles back down. Wakizashi throwing a counter right hand but Singh manages to avoid it.
And that's the end of the fight! Azadshatru Singh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Singh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Fukuzawa displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackson throws out the jab. Fukuzawa lands with a nice body punch. Fukuzawa scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Fukuzawa tries to score with a low kick but Jackson moves his leg out of the way.

Jackson fires out a quick counter leg kick but Fukuzawa just manages to avoid it. Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Fukuzawa tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Fukuzawa fails to land with a series of punches.

That was a close round but I would say that Waru Kuzuri will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pejovsky shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Unit's guard. Pejovsky preventing the sweep. Unit has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Pejovsky trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pejovsky trying to control but Unit is working from the bottom. Pejovsky with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pejovsky bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Pejovsky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Unit keeps working.
