and Franlkin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Franlkin has closed the distance and engaged Bulldog in a clinch.
Bulldog is trying to pull guard but Franlkin has him pressed against the cage.

Bulldog has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Franlkin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Franlkin is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Tiyapairat lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.

Jones tries to pull guard but Tiyapairat forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Jones is looking to control Tiyapairat's arms but Tiyapairat gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jones has his back to the cage.

Jones is trying to force a seperation but Tiyapairat has the dominant position.

I was talking to Jones's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Danky looking to sit in guard and control but Assistant gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Danky seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Danky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Assistant gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
