16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brick Tamland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 25 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Love Aikawa! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A chopping leg kick lands by Tamland. Aikawa tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Tamland throws a leg kick which misses Aikawa's front leg but catches the back leg as Aikawa tries to avoid it. Tamland slaps away a takedown attempt from Aikawa, before circling back to the center of the mat. Tamland feinted with a counter takedown. Tamland punishes Aikawa's body with a nice straight punch. Tamland scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Tamland looks for the body kick but Aikawa saw that one coming. Brick Tamland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tamland pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Aikawa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tamland scores with a body shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huddlestone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barca paws at him with a jab and circles away. Huddlestone tries to clinch up. Huddlestone tries to clinch but fails miserably and Barca counters with a takedown into side control. Barca lands an elbow. Huddlestone sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Barca throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barca looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Barca has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Barca wants to lay and pray for a moment but Huddlestone keeps working. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barca slows the pace down in half guard. Huddlestone slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Huddlestone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Huddlestone is fighting to maintain full guard but Barca has managed to sneak the leg through. Huddlestone wants to get back to his feet. Huddlestone is looking for a sweep. Barca is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Huddlestone is trying to stand up here but Barca is controlling him well. Barca uses his free foot to push down on Huddlestone's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Huddlestone. Barca tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Barca working for a guillotine from mount but Huddlestone is in no mood to give up. Barca lands a heavy elbow. Barca lands a couple of good shots and Huddlestone has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Huddlestone trying to survive by controlling the hands. Barca throws a series of strikes and Huddlestone wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here.

He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Blyer to score with a decent uppercut. Blyer moves out of range as Price throws a body kick.
