Diotte lands a left and a right that send Hoshigaki crashing to the mat, dazed. Diotte thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hoshigaki throws a leg kick but Diotte sees it coming and moves out of range.
It appears Diotte was looking to counter with a kick there.
Diotte circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hoshigaki to the canvas! Hoshigaki doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Diotte keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Mercer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mercer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Knapp sprawling to the canvas! Knapp rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mercer finish him?!
That has opened up Peter Knapp's cut even more.
Knapp walks straight into a right hand from Mercer - that's dropped him! Mercer jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Knapp from any more punishment! Knapp complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
