0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Todd Hunter! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gouveia scores with a jab. Hunter acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Hunter fails to land the takedown. Hunter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Gouveia uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hunter has time to react. No luck with that takedown attempt from Hunter. Gouveia cracks Hunter with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hunter looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gouveia finish him?
Hunter is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gouveia moves into range and clinches up with Hunter. Hunter is still on wobbly legs! Can Gouveia finish him? Gouveia unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Hunter! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Gouveia is unloading with more strikes now! Hunter drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gustavo Gouveia! Gustavo Gouveia seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daghammar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Daghammar throws a body shot but no joy. Daghammar scores with a shot to the body.
Daghammar takes a swing at Franca's ribcage but misses. Franca tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Daghammar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. An attempted straight right counter from Daghammar misses the target. Daghammar listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Franca lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Franca throws a big shot that misses. Daghammar sends Franca crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Daghammar is motioning to the referee to let Franca up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

That's one minute gone in the round. Franca walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Daghammar! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Felix gets a double leg takedown into Almedia's guard. Almedia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Felix trying to control the position from guard on top but Almedia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Almedia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Felix on the ground. Felix controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Almedia is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Almedia looking to hit a scissor sweep but Felix is one step ahead there. Almedia keeping moving, preventing Felix from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Felix pushes down on Almedia's leg and manages to get into half guard. Almedia wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Felix trying to pass the guard but Almedia defending well. Felix is working for a kimura but Almedia is defending it quite comfortably.
Almedia moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Felix is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Felix advances position into side control! Almedia holds on to Felix's head and controls the position momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Almedia is working to avoid the ground and pound but Felix connects with a decent elbow. Almedia tries to escape but Felix is in control. Felix tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Felix controls the position from side control. Felix has an Americana. Almedia didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Felix is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Felix hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Raecius Felix! Raecius Felix very nearly forgot to thank Museum of Monsters & Madmen amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carriggian gets a clinch. Dias comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Dias connects with a nasty looking knee right to Carriggian's face.
Carriggian has had enough of the clinch but Dias keeps him there for the moment. Dias using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Carriggian has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Dias lands an elbow inside. Carriggian can't break the clinch.

Carriggian goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dias prevents it.
Dias lands an elbow that stopped Carriggian in his tracks for a moment. Dias tries to work over Carriggian's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Dias lands an elbow inside that Carriggian shrugs off. Carriggian avoiding damage as Dias throws knees to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Carriggian on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Carriggian wants to take the fight to the mat but Dias manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Dias lands an elbow that stopped Carriggian in his tracks for a moment. Dias landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Dias's Muay Thai looks sharper than normal. He has obviously been working on it in the gym. Dias lands a left hand that snaps the head of Carriggian backwards. Dias throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Carriggian blocks it with crossed arms. Carriggian tries to break the clinch but Dias is controlling the position. Carriggian gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dias.

Carriggian tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Eduardo Dias has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cliff Carriggian.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Dias obliges. Dias lands a good knee to the midsection. Carriggian won't want to take too many of those. Dias lands an uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Dias utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Carriggian looks winded! Dias misses with a knee strike.
Carriggian is trying to break the clinch but Dias is controlling him. Carriggian wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Dias is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Carriggian tries to free his leg and advance position but Dias is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dias tries to land a sweep but no joy. Carriggian pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dias is keeping the position for now. Carriggian preventing the sweep. Carriggian chips away with some ground and pound. Dias looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carriggian is one step ahead there. Carriggian stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dias swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dias looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dias manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Carriggian manages to get himself to full guard.

Not yet Carriggian, not yet. Dias throws an elbow that misses. Carriggian uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dias's guard. Nice move by Carriggian!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dias wants to sweep here but Carriggian controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dias working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carriggian doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Carriggian manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dias looking for a guillotine here but Carriggian defends easily.
Dias is looking for a triangle here but Carriggian uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Dias is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dias looks to move to half guard but instead Carriggian has passed into mount! Damn!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carriggian wants to control the pace but Dias is squirming around nicely. Dias slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Carriggian wants to take a breather but Dias is having none of it. Dias is looking for a sweep. Carriggian is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dias manages to get to full guard.
Dias is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dias has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carriggian can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carriggian trying to control the position from guard on top but Dias is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Carriggian looking to pass the guard. Dias is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Carriggian advances to half guard. Carriggian looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Carriggian seems to be looking for submissions.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eduardo Dias will probably get the nod. That's time! Dias's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Dias connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Carriggian drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dias throws Carriggian to one side and escapes! Carriggian avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Carriggian is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. That kick from Dias tenderised Carriggian's leg. Carriggian is trying to keep his angry face on. Dias throws a quick inside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Carriggian shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Eduardo Dias overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dias makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dias. Carriggian preventing the sweep. Carriggian passes into half guard. Dias tries to get to full guard but Carriggian has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carriggian is looking for a kimura but Dias is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carriggian to get the leverage. Dias wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Dias manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Dias working for a triangle but Carriggian defends it easily.
Dias tries to land a sweep but no joy. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dias looking for a guillotine here but Carriggian defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dias had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Carriggian defends it easily. Carriggian trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Carriggian trying to control the position from guard on top but Dias is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dias wants to improve his position but instead Carriggian has moved into half guard.
Carriggian is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Dias is looking to control Carriggian's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dias avoid being mounted? Dias actively working from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carriggian prevents Dias from improving his position. Dias regains full guard. Nicely done. Dias looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carriggian is one step ahead there. Dias looking to control but Carriggian passes into half guard.
Carriggian content to control rather than advance. Eduardo Dias is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dias is controlling Carriggian's position as best he can from this difficult position. Carriggian passes to side control. Dias is looking to reverse the position. Dias isn't going anywhere. Carriggian tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Carriggian has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dias is looking to reverse the position.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eduardo Dias. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dias, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick from Sheik misses. Finkler takes a body punch but keeps moving. Finkler has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sheik finds it's way round the side to connect with Finkler's head. Finkler gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sheik counters with a series of strikes. Finkler will be more careful next time no doubt. Sheik thuds a left hand into Finkler's body. Sheik has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Jab, jab by Sheik - just one landing. A head kick by Sheik misses and Finkler holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Finkler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sheik walks away with a smile on his face. Finkler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Emerson Sheik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Finkler slips a jab and a cross from Sheik.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sheik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sheik misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Finkler.

Finkler drops down looking for a counter takedown but Sheik sprawls and moves away. Emerson Sheik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sheik lands a jab to Finkler's midsection. Sheik moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Finkler moves out of range of the body kick from Sheik.
Finkler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sheik as he jumps to the side. A countering left hand to the body from Sheik misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Finkler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jab, jab by Sheik - just one landing. Sheik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sheik throws a combination. Finkler tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Horrible takedown attempt by Finkler or perhaps it was just good defense by Sheik, which made it look bad. Despite the aggression on Sheik's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Sheik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Finkler avoids the head kick by Sheik.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sheik throws a nice looking combination but Finkler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. This has been an exciting period of action! No joy there for Sheik, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Finkler fails with a takedown attempt. A head kick misses from Sheik. Nice shot lands for Sheik. Sheik throws a looping overhand right but Finkler ducks down to avoid it. Finkler avoids a punch combination nicely.
Finkler fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sheik, pushing him back against the cage. Sheik is pressed up against the cage. Finkler has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sheik down to the mat. Sheik avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Finkler dodges the punch combination from Sheik.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sheik misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Finkler tries for a takedown but Sheik circles away easily and Sheik counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Finkler thinking. Finkler on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Sheik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Finkler takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. As Sheik looks to move away, Finkler throws a big counter combo bu Sheik just gets out of the way. Sheik throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Finkler. Sheik lands a two punch combo.

Finkler swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Emerson Sheik is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Sheik throws a series of punches but Finkler avoids them all with ease. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sheik throws a push kick but Finkler slaps the foot to one side. Sheik pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Sheik. No joy for Finkler on that attempt. Finkler shoots for a takedown but Sheik saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A nice side step and Sheik releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Finkler fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gary Finkler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Finkler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sheik's waist but Sheik gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Finkler off to one side.
And that's the end of the fight! Emerson Sheik comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Sheik winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A low kick from Wallace misses and Sapp counters with a crisp right hand that drops Wallace! Sapp lets Wallace back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Tim Wallace has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sapp lands a nice hook to Wallace's body. Wallace takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Sapp knocks out Wallace with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Sapp before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Sapp picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Sims cracks Boschman with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Boschman tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sims pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Boschman is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sandu Lungu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiagus Davaru Silva! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davaru Silva takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Davaru Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lungu circles away. A looping hook to the body misses from Lungu. Davaru Silva does a little dance to reset his feet. Thiagus Davaru Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Davaru Silva closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lungu's guard. Lungu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Davaru Silva manages to get himself to full guard.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Davaru Silva's guard. Lungu is pressing down on Davaru Silva's thigh, looking to free his foot. Davaru Silva is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davaru Silva looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Lungu perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Lungu is looking to advance position but Davaru Silva won't allow it.

No chance. Davaru Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Davaru Silva looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Davaru Silva is pressing down on Lungu's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Lungu's corner is telling him to maintain position. You can't force these things though and Lungu defends well. Lungu slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Davaru Silva manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lungu's best efforts. Lungu is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Davaru Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lungu is working away from the top position though. Davaru Silva looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sandu Lungu dominated that round. That's time! Lungu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Davaru Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lungu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Davaru Silva has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Davaru Silva has a takedown stuffed. Davaru Silva takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lungu leaves Davaru Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Sandu Lungu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiagus Davaru Silva. Lungu lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davaru Silva shoots and misses and Lungu counters with a left to the body. Davaru Silva has his takedown stuffed and Lungu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Davaru Silva is breathing heavily. Davaru Silva misses with a takedown and Lungu counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lungu sends Davaru Silva crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lungu is motioning to the referee to let Davaru Silva up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Lungu with a nice cross. Lungu is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Davaru Silva can do to turn this around? Lungu wobbles Davaru Silva with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Lungu dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Davaru Silva to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sandu Lungu! Sandu Lungu decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. Thiagus Davaru Silva was interviewed post fight and said 'Still feeling the effects of coming off so much PED usage. After tonight, I realized i'm not a true, natural SHW by any means. This will be my last SHW bout. I'll be back, either at 205lb or 185lb.'.
