Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Cederqvist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver Thompson had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Harry Cederqvist enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Cederqvist misses. Cederqvist misses with a low kick.
Thompson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Iron Works: Foundry: Sparring & Conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Thompson tests Cederqvist's chin there with a solid looking shot. Thompson blocks a head kick by Cederqvist.
Cederqvist lands a leg kick that knocks Thompson off balance momentarily. Cederqvist thuds his right hand into Thompson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Cederqvist walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Thompson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Cederqvist moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Oliver Thompson has been cut. Thompson misses with a few strikes there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MC rushes Tonon and presses him up against the cage. MC throws a knee to the head but misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tonon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Tonon is trying to drag MC to the mat but MC just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. MC goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Tonon is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables MC to keep the fight standing. Tonon wants a takedown.
Hesa MC has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Tonon. MC landing knees to the head.

MC misses with an elbow over the top. Tonon is trying to pull guard but MC turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. MC with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Tonon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as MC walks away with a smile on his face. Tonon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MC wants to clinch up but Tonon keeps it at a distance. MC wants to clinch. MC gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. MC obliges. A short right from MC on the inside. MC lands a nice knee to the body. Still in the clinch, MC scores with a nice short uppercut. Tonon on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

A nice glancing elbow lands by MC. Tonon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics MC uses from the top position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. MC looking to pass the guard. Tonon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

MC definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Tonon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Tonon not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Tonon is trying to control. MC wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Tonon is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for MC! Tonon working away from the top, dropping strikes. Tonon sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Tonon throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

McGraw throws a head kick that misses and Eirikson counters with a one-two to the body. McGraw tries to land a front kick but Eirikson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. McGraw throws a lazy head kick and Eirikson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Eirikson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. McGraw throws a series of punches but Eirikson avoids them all with ease. Eirikson is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. McGraw throws a leg kick that is checked and Eirikson counters with a nice right hand that sends McGraw toppling to the canvas! McGraw scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Eirikson finish him?!
Bonesaw McGraw's cut is getting worse. Leif Eirikson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A solid leg kick lands there for McGraw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eirikson cracks McGraw with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Eirikson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning McGraw to stand back up!
McGraw is rocked! McGraw moves to clinch but Eirikson breaks away and Eirikson counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks McGraw out cold! What a finish! Eirikson is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Hook is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Puzo. Hook thows a left - swing and a miss! Puzo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Hook chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Puzo can pounce on him.

Yount dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
