Desperately moves in looking to clinch but Lacroix pushes him off.
Desperately's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lacroix connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Desperately scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Struggling Desperately has been cut.
Lacroix fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Desperately manages to avoid it.
Desperately looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Lacroix feints and then cracks Desperately's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Desperately down.

Desperately falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Lacroix smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ono walks straight into a right hand from De Medici - that's dropped him! De Medici jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Ono from any more punishment! Ono complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Justin Hall dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Hall throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Rusted's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Hall dives in looking to finish as Rusted flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Hall's strikes! Hall is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Rusted's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Rusted was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Brewer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: scooby doo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
