Deverux is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A short right from Saari on the inside. Deverux is still on wobbly legs! Can Saari finish him? Clinched against the cage, Saari lands a big elbow that drops Deverux! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Deverux is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aku Saari! Aku Saari decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
