3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marick Tyne! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Lawson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lawson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tyne's head backwards. Lawson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Tyne takes a shot right to the bread basket. Tyne has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Lawson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Tyne tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lawson defends well and Tyne ends up having to push Lawson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A good leg kick by Lawson. A nice leg kick lands there from Lawson. Lawson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Tyne takes a step back to recover. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lawson gets off balance looking for a body kick and Tyne counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lawson! Lawson creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Tyne's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Tyne drops to his knees and Lawson pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Dick connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Grundy's hands. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Grundy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fortune dips to his left and cracks Blye with an uppercut! Dominic Fortune seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fortune tries to score with a low kick but Blye moves his leg out of the way. Blye lands a jab to the head.
Fortune tries to keep at a distance but Blye has taken the fight into the clinch. Blye's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Fortune misses with a hook to the ribs.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Blye has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Browne looks like he wants to counter punch here. Fjera fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Browne, pushing him back against the cage. Fjera is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Browne doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
