I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Buzz Lightbeer was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Hockles takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Myers Hockles.
I think Lightbeer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Shipman holds on and takes a little breather.

Shipman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crowe's guard.

Crowe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Crowe looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Shipman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chubby Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Smooth up in ya -by- Bulletboys.
