Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luana Peroba Filgueiras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Palowakski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Palowakski's choice of entrance music: Burning Down the House. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

28 - 34 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Palowakski! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palowakski fails in his attempt to clinch. Filgueiras fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Filgueiras shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Palowakski is trying to defend but Filgueiras finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Filgueiras is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Palowakski tries to roll over but Filgueiras keeps him under control. Filgueiras missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Filgueiras not landing any meaningful shots this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. This has been an exciting period of action! Filgueiras's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Palowakski moves into range and clinches up with Filgueiras. Palowakski pushes Filgueiras back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. I was talking to Filgueiras's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Filgueiras has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Filgueiras tries for a takedown but Palowakski manages to get underhooks.
Palowakski pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Filgueiras breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

And that's the end of the fight! Fred Palowakski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Palowakski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anier gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lee breaks from the clinch.
Lee's corner calls for a 1-2. Lee obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Lee throws a solid leg kick but Anier takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lee. Lee tries to bum rush Anier with a series of wild strikes but Anier uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Anier. Anier throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Anier finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lee has his hands on Anier's head, controlling the position. Lee is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anier has gone for a leg lock! Lee slips out almost immediately though and dives into Anier's guard. Lee slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lee decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Lee has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Xtreme MMA in the buildup to the fight. Lee throws a hook but Anier blocks it. Anier doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.

Anier has picked Lee up - he's going for a ride! Anier dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Anier is working for a kimura but Lee is defending it quite comfortably.
Lee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Anier is thwarting Lee's attempts to control the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lee holds on for dear life. Lee really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee tries to lock up and control but Anier gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lee is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Anier is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Lee is in a horrible position here. Anier smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Anier cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! No joy there for Lee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Anier shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lee looks to land a combination but Anier avoids it well. Anier fails with the takedown. Anier pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

This has been an exciting period of action! Lee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lee pushes Anier back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Lee blocks the elbow strike.
Anier misses with a knee to the head. Anier's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Lee has a couple of punches blocked by Anier.
Anier changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lee fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Anier can do to turn this around? Anier has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lee finds it's way round the side to connect with Anier's head.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Anier postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lee is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Anier, into his guard. Anier pulls Lee in close to prevent any damage. Lee decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rafal looks to score with a jab to the body but Jung is just out of range. Jung was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Jung fails to land with a series of punches.

Rafal has control of Jung's left arm, preventing Jung from doing any damage. Jung trying to control the position from guard on top but Rafal is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rafal is on top in guard.
Jung is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rafal defends well. Rafal showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Let's hope that Rafal has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jung looks to land a combination but Rafal avoids it well. Rafal drops Jung with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jung looks back up at him and smiles so Rafal waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Rafal dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

We've been informed that Maven has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. The crowd cheers as Hunt lands an impressive looking overhand right. Maven doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Marcus Maven has been cut. Maven slips under a jab. Nice uppercut there from Hunt. Maven throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hunt on the side of the head. Maven misses with an uppercut. Hunt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Maven. Silik Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hunt has Maven up against the cage in a clinch.

Maven paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Hunt explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Maven scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Hunt stuns Maven with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Maven on the wrong end of a nice hook. Hunt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Maven manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hunt has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The fight moves into the clinch position. Maven throws a punch but it's blocked by Hunt. Maven blocks an uppercut.

Hunt is rocked! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hunt is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Maven doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Hunt crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Hunt's bad books for that mishap!

Oppelaar throws a hook to the side of Aman's head but Aman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Oppelaar has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Aman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Oppelaar. Oppelaar doesn't succeed with the takedown and Aman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Oppelaar shoots in and drives through. Aman sprawls well. Aman was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Oppelaar looks winded! Oppelaar blocks a jab. Oppelaar wants to stay close but Aman steps back to make room for something. Oppelaar seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Aman and Oppelaar drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Jiu Jitsu really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
