Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kicking King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Rambler! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King tries to keep at a distance but Rambler has taken the fight into the clinch. King trying to control the position but instead, Rambler has worked for underhooks and has pushed King into the cage. Rambler struggles to land a body shot inside as King controls his hands.
Rambler has King pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. King manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. King tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Rambler swings wildly with an uppercut but King uses good head movement to avoid it. Rambler's coach down at Thirteenth Legion MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rambler's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. King looking to stall.
King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rambler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. King tries to roll over but Rambler keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rambler.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rambler is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and King defends it well. King is trying to maintain the position but Rambler is very close to passing his half guard. Rambler looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Rambler prevents King from standing back up.
Ground and pound from Rambler. Rambler is looking for a kimura but King is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rambler to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rambler misses with a head shot. King uses the momentum to regain guard. King tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rambler is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! King is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! King has escaped and now he's on top! Rambler keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully. King preventing the sweep. Rambler keeping full guard, as King tries to pass. Rambler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Rambler working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. King doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. King manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rambler is looking for a triangle but King pushes his legs off easily.
Rambler has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. King trying to control but Rambler is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rambler looking to control.
Rambler keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully. Rambler looking for a sweep. Not yet Rambler, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King drops back looking for a leg! Rambler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rambler manages to kick King off! King jumps back into Rambler's guard. Rambler has his foot on King's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. King works his way back into a safe position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rambler working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because King has passed into half guard!
Rambler is trying to maintain the position but King is very close to passing his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Rambler dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
King defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rambler. Good leg kick by King there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
King turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. King thumps Rambler with a low kick. No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rambler on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. King rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rambler moves out of range and avoids them all easily. King just misses with a punch to the body.

Kicking King is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rambler lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Kicking King has been cut. King fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. King moves away from the strike by Rambler. This has been an exciting period of action! No luck with that takedown attempt from Rambler. King pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rambler throws a sloppy head kick and King moves out of range easily. Rambler closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on King's face as he tries to break the clinch. Rambler wants a takedown.
Kicking King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Rambler. Rambler has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed King clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Rambler trying to control. Rambler is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. King knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften King for a finish. King manages to reverse the position and now he's in Rambler's guard. Nice work there by King.
Rambler keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rambler looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rambler looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rambler!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rambler is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rambler landing strikes. King stops Rambler from passing to mount. Rambler wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by King, who protects the arm well. King takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rambler laying and praying for a moment but King takes advantage and regains half guard. Well, if Rambler is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
King manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Rambler keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Rambler tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

King gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rambler.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Nice body punch from King - that landed with a thud.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rambler has dropped down and is working for a takedown. King is trying to keep an underhook but Rambler manages to get the takedown into half guard. Rambler throwing shots but King is blocking nicely. Rambler stalling away here and it's allowed King to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. King working a defensive guard here.

Rambler with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Rambler throws a big right hand that misses. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rambler's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kicking King will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kicking King's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

King lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
King slaps away a takedown attempt from Rambler, before circling back to the center of the mat. King throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. King scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Kicking King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rambler blocks a head kick by King.
Rambler avoids a punch combination nicely.
King throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Rambler's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! King lands with a thumping leg kick.
King connects with a solid leg kick. King swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Rambler shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. King defends it nicely. Rambler moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Rambler showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from King.
Kicking King is winning the standup battle so far. Nice body kick there by King. Rambler misses with a double jab.
King explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Rambler takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rambler takes the fight into the clinch. King dodges an elbow strike from Rambler.
King pushes Rambler back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rambler is trying to drag King to the mat but King just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kicking King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Rambler. King is working for takedown but Rambler is calmly controlling the position for now. King throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ramblers head. King goes for a takedown attempt but Rambler pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Rambler is looking to land body kicks. King misses with a series of wild punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! King throws a wild combination but nothing lands. King throws a sloppy head kick and Rambler moves out of range easily. King throws a nice outside leg kick. Rambler shoots in and drives through. King sprawls well. King lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rambler's sensitive parts. King lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rambler circles away quickly and effectively. King scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Rambler doesn't succeed with the takedown and King counters with a two punch combo.

A thudding body kick lands there by King!
Rambler takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Rambler pushes King up against the cage in a clinch. King is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Rambler keeps control of King as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. King wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rambler drops to a knee looking for a takedown but King gets the underhooks and prevents it.

King is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
King moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. King lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rambler will feel that in the morning. King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rambler tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. King manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. King misses with a wild combination.
King moves out of range of the strikes. King blocks a jab. King misses with a head kick.
Rambler drops down looking to force a counter takedown but King defends it well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! King uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rambler.
Rambler has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from King. Rambler has managed to clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Kicking King showed his dominance in that final round. I think King has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good work by Franchel as he checks the leg kick. Franchel feinted with a counter takedown. Franchel wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Franchel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A punch combination from Franchel misses. Franchel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Franchel wants it to stay on the feet. Ado slaps away a takedown attempt from Franchel, before circling back to the center of the mat. A punch combination from Franchel misses. Ado looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Ado changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Franchel looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Franchel is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ado is controlling him well. Ado trying to control the position but Franchel is working away. Franchel wants to control but Ado postures up.

Franchel keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ado has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Franchel defend it? Ado steps over the head and cranks it - Franchel is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ado!

Vader tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Freire defends well and Vader ends up having to push Freire into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Freire fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vader is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Vader will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Vader shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Freire but Freire pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darth Vader. That's going to take a lot out of him. Freire throws a head kick but Vader moves out of range.

Freire manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Freire tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Vader avoids it. Freire's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Freire gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vader throws a big elbow that misses. Vader loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Vader is looking to work some ground and pound but Freire has wrist control. Vader won't allow Freire to get back to his feet. Freire told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Vader distracts Freire with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Freire wants to stand up but Vader is controlling him. Freire uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Rocha Freire dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Vader stuns Freire with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Vader with a poor takedown and Freire counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Vader lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Freire at a distance.
Vader changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Freire tries to avoid it but Vader manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Freire to the ground. Freire escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Vader tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Freire was well out of range. Poor timing from Vader. Freire throws a right hand that Vader ducks under and follows up with a left that Vader also avoids with ease. Rocha Freire seems to be getting the better of the standup. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice combo by Vader! Oh, that's hurt him - Freire falls to the canvas and Vader follows him into side control.
It looks like Rocha Freire has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Freire takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Vader working the body and head with strikes. Freire wants to get back to his feet.

Vader is looking to take a break and control but Freire is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Freire wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Darth Vader overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Freire bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Vader closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Freire to the mat! Freire manages to get full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Freire is looking to stand back up but Vader counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Freire. Freire is refusing to be controlled, as Vader sits in half guard. Vader throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Vader prevents Freire from standing back up.
Vader wants to take a breather but Freire is having none of it. Freire wants to get back to his feet.
Vader is nestled in close to Freire, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Freire is trying to stand.
Vader takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Vader will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Vader trying to mount his opponent but Freire defends it. Vader stops Freire from getting back to his feet.

Freire makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Freire connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Freire scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Vader fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Freire to the ground. Vader is now in Freire's guard. Freire manages to escape and get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vader ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Freire moves away. Freire misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Freire keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Vader gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Freire connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Darth Vader will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Rocha Freire's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Freire throws a nice looking combination but Vader bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Freire displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vader. Freire looks like he wants to counter punch here. Vader fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freire leaves Vader with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Freire misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vader was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Vader uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Freire. Freire lands a really nice looking cross but Vader seems unphased.
Freire throws a head kick that misses. A counter left hand to the body from Vader misses its target. Vader avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vader fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Vader misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Vader ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Freire misses with a head kick.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Freire leaves Vader with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Rocha Freire comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Freire has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Mon Ami throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wooooly gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Mon Ami gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Wooooly is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Voorhees wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Messinger, who protects the arm well. Voorhees sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Messinger is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Voorhees throws an elbow but Messinger slips to the side and avoids it well. Voorhees has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Voorhees has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Voorhees throwing shots but missing, from side control. Voorhees cracks Messinger with a big right hand but Messinger just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Messinger gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Voorhees pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Anderson Voorhees decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. Henrik Messinger was interviewed post fight and said 'It's a tough loss. Gotta go back to the gym and work harder.'.

It looks like Roland De Ronceveux has been cut. Moore gets cracked with a nice right hand there by De Ronceveux . Moore wants to land a leg kick but De Ronceveux is out of range. De Ronceveux definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Moore slips under a jab from De Ronceveux . De Ronceveux throws a push kick but Moore slaps the foot to one side. Moore lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Moore blocks a jab. Moore throws a leg kick but De Ronceveux sees it coming and moves out of range. A counter left hand to the body from De Ronceveux misses its target.

Moore fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt De Ronceveux . Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Moore rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but De Ronceveux moves out of range and avoids them all easily. De Ronceveux looks for the body kick but Moore saw that one coming. De Ronceveux bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. De Ronceveux throws a body punch but Moore moves out of range. De Ronceveux connects with a leg kick. Moore looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. A chopping leg kick lands by De Ronceveux . De Ronceveux throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Moore fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. De Ronceveux misses with a body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore misses with a looping left. Moore is looking to slow De Ronceveux down with leg kicks. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Moore, right into the meat.
A jab from De Ronceveux finds it's way through Moore's defenses. A lazy body kick from De Ronceveux and Moore counters with a solid body kick. De Ronceveux thows a left - swing and a miss! A clash of legs there as De Ronceveux blocks the low kick. De Ronceveux throws a looping overhand right but Moore ducks down to avoid it. De Ronceveux chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Moore can pounce on him.
Moore lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Moore shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Moore goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A little feinted left hand from De Ronceveux on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. De Ronceveux takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beast does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Beast moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Izzy Beast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mouse takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Beast throws a leg kick but Mouse sees it coming and moves out of range. Mouse lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Beast gets a clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mouse misses with a short punch on the inside. Beast lands with a short head shot on the inside. Beast lands a body shot in the clinch.

Mouse works the jab nicely. Beast tries to work over Mouse's front leg with a kick but Mouse checks it. Beast scoring well with a low kick there.

Beast is rocked! Beast tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mouse paws at him with a jab and circles away. Oh Beast is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Beast throws a quick inside leg kick. Beast swings widly with a right hand
and Mouse counters with a huge left! Beast is in big trouble! He's backing up but Mouse isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Beast from any more damage. A dominating finish by Mouse!
