Undercard bout

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erkki Elastinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Earnest Abe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Elastinen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cascada - Dangerous. Abe has chosen Uncle Sam Goddamn as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Elastinen gets tackled into the cage by Abe. Abe maintains the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Elastinen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Nice body punch from Abe - that landed with a thud.
Elastinen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Elastinen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Abe pulls his leg out and moves away.
Abe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Elastinen moves away.
Elastinen blocks a head kick by Abe.
Elastinen feinted with a counter takedown.

Abe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Elastinen sprawling to the canvas! Elastinen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Abe finish him?!

It looks like Erkki Elastinen has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Oh Elastinen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Elastinen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Abe gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Elastinen tries to clinch up but Abe pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Elastinen to the mat! Elastinen covers up and Abe unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

An inside leg kick lands from Hunt.
Hunt's jab looks to have found its range, popping Slyker under the eye.
Hunt looks to land a combination but Slyker avoids it well.
Slyker throws a right and a left that Hunt avoids nicely.
Hunt appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Slyker misses with a takedown attempt - Hunt sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Slyker slips a jab from Hunt.
Sloppy strikes from Slyker. Those never looked like landing.
Slyker feints a jab promting Hunt to slip. Slyker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hunt slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
