The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Sedin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wood paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wood moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Shoulder. A jab from Dang does it's job there. Dang blocks a head kick by Shoulder.

Dang stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dang wants it to stay on the feet. Shoulder comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Shoulder uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dang. Shoulder misses with a few strikes there.
Horrible takedown by Shoulder or perhaps it was just good defense by Dang which made him look bad. Shoulder shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Shoulder missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. After a battle for position, Shoulder asserts his dominance and retains side control. Shoulder lands a nice forearm strike.

Shoulder has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Check out the look on Shoulder's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
