0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joseph Venables! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Uiva Nakki! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Venables misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nakki rushes Venables and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Venables using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Nakki has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Venables displaying some good clinch control by pressing Nakki up against the cage. Venables throws a punch but it's blocked by Nakki. Venables pulls guard successfully.
Nakki wants to get up but he can't break Venables's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Venables is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Venables is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nakki defends well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakki wants to get up but he can't break Venables's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nakki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Venables is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

No, Nakki has managed to get both his arms back between Venables's legs - danger averted. Nakki wanted to stand there but Venables had control of the position. Nakki gets to his feet. Venables looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Nakki cracks Venables with a nice body shot. Venables swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Uiva Nakki dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakki jabs Venables to the body, keeping him at a distance. Venables takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Venables drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nakki works the jab nicely. Venables closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Nakki has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nakki dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Venables takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Uiva Nakki seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nakki lands a nice shot that snaps Venables's head back.
Nakki takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Nakki ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Nakki tests Venables's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nakki scores with a hook to the body. Venables takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. An inside leg kick from Venables misses. Nakki connects with a good right hand that stumbles Venables. Venables circles away out of range and recomposes himself. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nakki jabs at Venables's body. Venables looks to land a body kick but Nakki moved away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Venables stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nakki moves out of range of the body kick. Nakki lands with a cross. Venables throws out a leg kick but Nakki moves out of range and Venables only half commits. Nakki throws out a counter right but Venables avoids it with no problem. Nakki scores with a crisp jab that stopped Venables in his tracks. Venables throws a front kick aimed at Nakki's knee but Nakki avoids it well. Nakki cracks Venables with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Nakki avoids the head kick by Venables.
Nakki gets in close and instigates a clinch. Nice body punch from Nakki - that landed with a thud.
Nakki digs a right hand underneath Venables's ribcage. Venables let out a lung full of air as it connected. Venables jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nakki walks away with a smile on his face. Venables gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Uiva Nakki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A left lands for Nakki.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakki scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Venables cracks a nice hook into Nakki's ribs. Venables waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nakki. Venables throws a head kick but Nakki moves out of range.

Venables misses with a wild body shot. Nakki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Venables has time to react. Nakki dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nakki avoids a kick to the body.
Nakki doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Nakki is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Nakki fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Nakki scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Venables looks to land a body kick but Nakki moved away. Venables takes one on the button. Venables attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Nakki is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Venables with a body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uiva Nakki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Nakki is unloading with more strikes now! Venables drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Von Moger swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Aigul's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Roussow shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. John eats them both and turns towards Roussow to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
John is rocked! Roussow is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - John is in big trouble! Roussow is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking John. Poor guy.

Waugh shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Boss counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Waugh has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Waugh gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Boss counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Waugh is lucky that one didn't land flush. Gundersen smells blood - he's punishing Wibowo with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Wibowo has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch lands to the side of Brazil 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Judo Brazil has been cut. Driver looks to throw the jab but Brazil is out of range. Driver changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Driver looks to score with a jab to the body but Brazil is just out of range. Brazil tries to counter with a takedown but Driver is quick to defend against it. Driver throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Brazil drops his hands momentarily and Driver takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Driver throws an off balance right hand
and Brazil counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Driver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brazil. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brazil scoring with some ground and pound. Driver can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brazil controls the pace. Brazil drops back looking for a leg! Driver is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Driver manages to kick Brazil off! Brazil jumps back into Driver's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brazil thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Brazil trying to control but Driver is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brazil sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Driver's guard. Brazil not landing any meaningful shots this time. Driver wants to improve his position but Brazil is controlling well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alanko misses the jab. Alanko takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Alanko slips under a jab from Halla. Alanko tries to clinch but Halla moves out of range. Alanko throws a leg kick and Halla counters with a lovely shot to the body. Halla lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Ohto Alanko has been cut. Alanko throws a leg kick that is checked and Halla counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Alanko rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Halla counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Alanko thinking. Alanko avoids the body shot from Halla.
Alanko closes the distance looking to clinch and Halla counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Alanko throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Halla counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Alanko cracks the inside of Halla's front leg. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Halla avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Halla looks to land a left hand but Alanko moved out of range nicely. Alanko takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Halla definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Alanko lands with a short shot to the head. Alanko throws a punch but it's blocked by Halla. A head punch on the inside from Alanko fails to land. Halla misses with a hook to the ribs.
Alanko lands a body punch. Come on Halla - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Alanko lands a right hand that snaps the head of Halla backwards. Alanko goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Halla drops Alanko onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Alanko is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Alanko is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Halla unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Alanko! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Halla is unloading with more strikes now! Alanko drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
